🍽️💚 Hey CSU Ramily, can you help us bring back Biology Graduate Community Lunches?!

💸 We’re trying to raise $2,500 to bring them back, and every little bit helps. If you want to support CSU Biology grad students, you can donate here: col.st/qjvh6

🎃 The campaign runs through October 31. Reach out to our grad reps for more details!
🐰 Zoë D'Agostino:
sophia.dagostino@colostate.edu
🐯 Asha Fry:

🌱 Dylan Moss:

These lunches are such a good way for Biology grad students to actually pause, eat, and connect with each other in the middle of a busy week. They make a huge difference by building community, offering support throughout the semester, and giving students a place to breathe — and we really want to keep that going.

Thanks for helping us keep this space alive for our grad community 🐏💚

🌊🐾 Grads in Biology Student Spotlight: Sarah Kerr!

Meet Sarah Kerr, a PhD candidate in the Williams Lab studying marine mammal ecology. Sarah’s dissertation uses machine learning and biologging data to classify behaviors in northern fur seals and explore how individual differences in foraging behavior may relate to reproductive success.

Before coming to CSU, Sarah earned her MS studying the biomechanical energetics of California sea lions and researched population demographics in northern elephant seals.

We love celebrating the amazing graduate researchers who bring curiosity, skill, and energy to CSU Biology — and Sarah’s work is a perfect example of science that’s both rigorous and incredibly cool. 🌟
