what a lovely piece in @quinobequinreview [[[[ ‘MELT’ written by Beatriz Pugeda and photographed by @carolinebrink_art : It’s easy to classify this city as clinical. As a transplant myself, my perception of Boston was first defined by its reputation of cold winters and assumed matching frigid demeanors to follow. The city’s loudest industries are higher education and biotech, which many understand to be its highest values. And with young professionals running rampant through downtown, rumors of a city rich in history seem dispelled with every new corporate beer garden playground. Sometimes it feels like Boston is for a single type of person. Sometimes it feels like there is no room for art in this city. Let it fool you for a few years, so when you do happen upon the scene, it’ll come out of thin air. It’ll feel like magic.

Eva Zasloff is a board-certified family doctor who specializes in pediatrics and women’s health. And in Boston fashion she is a leading expert in her field. A champion of postpartum health in the fourth trimester, she smiled when making natural comparisons between her messy work as both a physician and artist. She is primarily a painter, but seeks out to experiment with new mediums. She values uncertainty as part of the creative release.

When Caroline and I paid Eva a visit in her barn studio this past winter, the absolute explosion of creativity was a surprise, though it shouldn’t have been. ..]]]]] [continues] … 🤍

Not So Secret. - June 2026

I wanted to write something clever or ramble about recent events in my life. But I don’t feel like it.

These set of photos are from a time where I laughed harder than I should’ve and just enjoyed being in the presence of others.

Thanks for having a good time and sharing smiles. Cool.

It’s starting to set in that all I do is take pics of comedy shows. I need to take more photos of strangers, without their consent, on the streets.

I’m hungry and it’s 3am when I’m writing this.

Apparently I can only tag 20 people. Sorry @billonfryer @yingslie @johnmichaelmanzi @_josieross @_samantharosehill you guys were beyond the limit that the Instagram overlords could handle on a single post. Taken @improvasylum

Did I do good? Leave a review if you liked my services and in return I’ll leave you a voice memo about something I enjoyed in my youth.
