Exploring the desert.

Every angle is breathtaking. Found a bonus surprise in photo 19. Can you see it? Seeing history before your eyes was worth climbing up the steep tight trail to the top. Photo 20 shows several cave-like openings, I wonder if they were pre-historic dwellings.

We celebrated our milestone 30 years anniversary this week. To be exact, we danced through laughters & tears, and weathered through sunshine & rains, for 40+ years or approximately 15,000 days. That’s pretty much a whole lifetime of growing up and navigating our life journey together. Our story is special, and I hold it close to my heart. Here’s looking forward to making many more happy memories for our family. Happy anniversary @btw62 … cheers! 🎉🥂💕

Here’s my family’s 2024 at a glance.

How fast one year flew by. So little time, yet so much has happened. Here are few moments in time - sharing corners of my tiny garden, and capturing happiest times & some precious memories of our kids getting together with their cousins. 2024 was a full year, filled with tasks, stresses, special moments, accomplishments from our children, as they forge onto their new paths & chapters in life, and of course, much love, respect, and appreciation for everything that we took for granted daily. I look forward to the new year and the new challenges and adventures that 2025 will bring.

I wish good health, happiness, and prosperity in the new year, for my family, old friends, and Instagram friends. Peace and safety around the world. Cheers to 2025! ❤️🎉🌟

Good luck to my niece Madison. Enjoy your travel and work. We love you! 🧧💐

My husband and I attended our daughter’s graduation ceremony last week. It was a beautiful fall convocation held at the Convocation Hall of University of Toronto.

Last time I was there was for my husband’s graduation, when he received his Master’s Degree. That seems like eons ago. Watching my daughter and her classmates go up the stage looking happy and confident, was a proud moment for my husband and I, as well, for her aunts & uncles, and our extended families. Thank you aunties @ju_su and cousins for the beautiful bouquet and gifts.

Being there for the ceremony, the memories brought us back to a full circle. This was the place where my husband and I met when we were students there in 1983. Time flies. Life took us to many places, with many turns, now we have landed firmly on the same ground where it all got started. I wish all the good things and wonderful life experiences for these young people.

Congratulations to the Class of 2024. Wishing you all, much happiness and success in your new path. Go chase your dreams!

Attended my daughter’s graduation ceremony on Wednesday, June 22, 2022.

5 years ago, my daughter started on the same path in pic #1. We couldn’t be more proud of her to have completed that journey a year ago.

We are so happy to be able to see her and the entire graduating classes of 2020, 2021, and 2022 finally received the much deserved in-person convocation.

It was a beautiful ceremony. Congratulations and best wishes to all the graduates at Queen’s University!

Apparently a lot of birthdays are being celebrated today! ... the late singer Bob Marley would have been 72... my daughter's Math teacher's brother... and my Bob a.k.a. my nieces and nephew's uncle Bob. Thanks to my daughter's friend @lu0399 who decided to help celebrate my husband's birthday in their class today. By the way, note: the formula on the black board for calculating the average jerk is in no way related to any Bob, famous or otherwise 🎂😎😂 .
