Before I celebrated the Juneteenth holiday, I wanted to do something intentional and purposeful for others less fortunate than me.

On Friday June 19th the @atlastechinc positive impact team volunteered at @_one80_place to serve lunch to their clients and the community. One80 Place provides shelter for the homeless and free food to anyone in need of a hot meal.

On Saturday June 20th I started my morning by volunteering with @park_circle_cares. Every 3rd Saturday Park circles cares distributes, healthy canned and dry goods, fresh vegetables, produce, and protein packed beef, pork, and chicken for free to anyone in need of groceries.

Volunteering during the Juneteenth weekend was a meaningful way to honor the day's history and commit to the ongoing work toward racial justice and equity.
