This past weekend = PURE MAGIC ✨

We’re still crunching numbers… but what we already know? It took a village — and then some.

SO MANY SHOUT OUTS to the people and businesses who made this unforgettable weekend possible:

💫 2026 Auction Committee & Subcommittee Chairs — all hands on deck from start to finish. This event simply would not have happened without your dedication, late nights, and heart.

✨ Decor Chairs: Michelle Willey (@michwilley), Zareen Bhatti (@zbhatti), & Whitney Davis (@whitneyleadavis) — you spent countless hours bringing a vision to life. The visuals were next-level. Truly unlike anything OFE has seen before.

🎈 Janie Jan (@janie.hazel) @bubblelushhtx — your over-the-top balloon installations at the GlamBot and stage were ART. You create the kind of magic that makes memories last forever. We are endlessly grateful for the way you support our Bobcats.

👑 OFE Exec Board President, President-Elect & VP2 — Emily, Tiffany & Ellie — 72 hours straight. First in, last out. Leaders in every sense of the word. We are so lucky to have you guiding this school.

🏡 Oak Forest local businesses — your auction donations, sponsorships, and commitment to public education make a tangible difference. Our neighborhood shows up, and we are so thankful.

🍎 Our teachers, staff & admin — you show up for our Bobcats every single day, and then somehow still show up for events like this. Your socials, auction items, and contributions raise thousands. We are endlessly grateful.

📸 @quicksnapevents — that GlamBot was EVERYTHING. (Link coming soon 👀)

🖨 Ms. Hunt — print projects down to the very last second. You saved us more than once!

💙 A very special shoutout to our VP Fundraising @elaustin7 — ALL. YOU. DO. We love you!!!!!

🏨 And to Gary @omnihoustonhotel — we truly can’t imagine a better partner and host for such a special night.

OFE, this weekend was a reminder of what happens when a community rallies around public education.

Paws up forever. 🐾

💥 Dote on Your Daughter 2026 💥

What a night for our OFE girls! From the perfectly themed bites to the crowd-favorite robots, every detail was next-level — and core memories were absolutely made.

Now in its 5th year, Dote on Your Daughter raised the MOST ever raised by a Social in OFE Auction history! 🙌💫

To our incredible Host Families — thank you for the teamwork and heart you poured into this event. Because of you, we were able to welcome so many students while keeping the night safe, thoughtful, and full of joy.

And a very special shoutout to event lead Zuylen Handler, who started this tradition five years ago and has grown it into the beloved OFE staple it is today. 💛 @zuylenhandler

We’re so grateful for our amazing vendors who always show up for OFE 💙 @bubblelushhtx @houstonhappyballoon @melissakmcgowanphoto @quicksnapevents @clutchcityentertainment_ @tcarredondo

Omg what a weekend! I usually only do balloons for school events and family 😘, and this was my first time trying "trees"—a real trust the process moment! Big shoutout to the auction team for letting me run with whatever idea we landed on. It was a lot of work, but I’m glad I prepped the small balloons ahead of time!
As I worked, I saw the @ofeauction team and so many @oakforestelementarypta volunteers hustling—moving real trees from @buchanansplants and @hcon30, setting up baskets, displays, and centerpieces, and even cutting turf for a "green carpet." It was nuts! There were so many moving parts to this gala, and it all came together amazingly. Thank you to our wonderful PTA and OFE families for putting so much work to fundraise for the kids. It took a village to make this event happen, and we do it all for the kids. 🥰
