Week 1 of the VBL kicked the 20th season off with a bang 💥

We saw league legends and rising stars deliver signature moments and unforgettable highlights all day long.

@westsidewar_basketball opened the action with a dominant 59-35 win over Tru Height. Player of the Game Jordan Robinson dropped 14 pts in a well-rounded team effort. But it was @yung.boy.vs , @truheightvitamins #1 pick, who shook the beach with a mean iso-card poster that had the crowd on their feet early.

Next up, United Nations pulled off a thriller—a 55-54 nail-biting win over Hidden Empire, sealed by @vgirard24 (15 pts, 3 3pt) cold-blooded game-winner snatched victory from the jaws of defeat in the Gamebreaker period. Despite the loss, @hiddenempiresports impressed with big-time performances from @the.amirsmith (15 pts) and #1 pick @navarelmore (14 pts).

In the day’s marquee matchup, @bballjunkies edged out An Awful Lot of Cough Syrup in a battle of MVPs and league legends. @iball42life (20 pts) and @thehezigod (14 pts, 7 ast) led the charge against @juice1hunnit (22 pts) and @yooooooaj_ “The Chosen One” (9 pts). Veteran @slimdunccin delivered one of the day’s wildest moments with a vintage poster dunk that had the crowd going wild.

The day closed with a statement 67-38 win by @crepprotect over Timeless. @trigga_manee21 led with 14 pts while @marigotnext1 “The Poster Child” locked in on defense and put on a fast-break clinic as Crep Protect’s relentless runs proved too much for Timeless to handle.
