IMO GOVERNOR'S PHOTOGRAPHER LIGHT UP OWERRI *Founds Imo Shutters Association Chinonso Bonaventure, a personal photographer and aide to the governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha, has proven that one can be in government and still pursue his or her dreams, despite the exegiencies associated with his job. By founding Imo Shutters Association, he has not only united photographers in the state, he has also sparked passion among them. The association is co-founded by Chimdiebube Anosike. The pair also founded 895 Media. The inspiration behind their massive involvement with photography is to ensure that in the nearest future, photographers will be given the voice they desire, within and outside Imo State. The duo intend to organize annual seminar for photographers in the state under the auspices of Imo Shutters Association. The association's inaugural meeting on the 17th day of September 2019, was a gathering of the who is who in the photography industry in Imo state. The meeting was an eye-opener and avenue for photographers to discuss and deliberate on the challenges faced by photographers in the state. This wouldn't have been possible if Mr Bonaventure and his friend did not take the bull by the horn. They have exhibited passion for the profession and proven to everyone that they have the best interests of photographers in the state at heart.
