Okay, but why do we need an LGBTQ middle school?

This was the reasoning from the founder, Joji Florence. I’m still confused:

“The way we’re thinking about our kiddos and the school is that we have this space, and the extension of our space is the community. It sounds pretty basic, but when you’re in schools for a long time, it is...not basic,” Florence explained. “Schools get rooted. They get insular out of safety issues, out of a lot of things. But we have an opportunity to not do that.”

Other claims circulating online — including allegations about police stopping filming or deliberately hiding what was happening — remain unverified based on the official sources I found.

The fair questions are simple: Was the event family-friendly? What age standards applied? Who approved the programming? What did the $15,000 security funding cover? And why aren’t mayoral town halls livestreamed?

Can Canadians stand beside one another again?

People like me are not asking to be attacked or dismissed. We are sick, struggling and looking for answers.

I was listening to Kevin Street, and something he said really stayed with me: some people dealing with neurological problems struggle to even explain what is happening to them.

That hit home.

I am 34 years old, and some days I cannot properly explain what is happening inside my own brain and body. The pain, neurological symptoms, exhaustion and weakness can be overwhelming.

After my concussion, I was slowly rebuilding my life. I returned to school. I had goals again. Then my health deteriorated.

I have questioned whether vaccination could have played a role, and I believe that question deserves to be investigated—not mocked or silenced.

I do not want hatred.
I do not want labels.
I want answers.

You do not have to agree with someone's explanation of what happened to them to care that they are suffering.

Every day I get back up and fight.

Real people. Real pain. Real stories. We deserve to be heard.

🚨 THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOUR SHOULD CONCERN EVERYONE

When people connected to public online personalities are allegedly making degrading comments about women, threatening others, or bringing people’s children into disputes, that crosses a serious line.

The material being circulated identifies Leanne Lawson and people described as being within her circle, including an account using the handle @ghettogothdolld.i.e, in connection with alleged comments and threats.

Disagreements online are one thing. Threatening people or their families is something entirely different.

Nobody should normalize intimidation, harassment, or targeting children because of an argument on social media. If someone makes a credible threat, preserve the evidence and report it through the appropriate channels.

People should be judged by what they actually say and do — which is why screenshots, recordings, dates and full context matter.

So it seem this man is targeting and threatening people who call him out like myself @buckangel @apostateari I just want to remind people if hes willing to hit kids hes also willing to hit women especially those who speak out against him. I do hope @bcrcmp is looking into him especially when him and his friends dox people.

So I'm gonna do a little update since this man who justifies hitting a kid for words he didnt like. This man also seems to love doxing people with his gang of misfits? Why as Canadians are we allowing people like this threatening and attacking people especially children? We need to hold people like Leanne Lawson this behavior is unacceptable and people like him are hurting the LGB community.
