Who’s cutting the onions? 😭

As many of you know, this week marks my last at Halogen, with my final day being October 12th. I’ve been trying to find the right words, but nothing seems quite enough to express what this journey has meant to me. Moving on is never easy, especially when it’s from people who have become more than coworkers — they’ve become family.

I started at Halogen with a team of eight incredible individuals, and now we’re down to four. I’ve witnessed people chasing their dreams, others discovering this wasn’t theirs, and I’ve watched as we all evolved in ways that go beyond the job itself. Some of these people were even there at my wedding, sharing in the most personal moments of my life.

It’s a strange thing, isn’t it? How you can grow so close to people that the thought of leaving them behind feels like you’re leaving a part of yourself. Every shift, every laugh, every moment of frustration, and every triumph—these are memories that stay with you long after the boxes are packed.

As the saying goes, when one door closes, another opens. But it doesn’t mean that the door behind you won’t leave a lasting imprint on your heart. Halogen will forever hold a special place in mine, and the past three years have been some of the most fulfilling of my life.

I want to leave you with this: This isn't goodbye, it’s simply "see you later." I’m taking with me every lesson, every friendship, and every shared experience, and for that, I’m eternally grateful.

Stop, read this again: You have all made a mark on me in ways I will never forget. Thank you for being a part of my journey. 💞💓💞
