We had a fun morning visiting Buddy Dog Humane Society to drop off everything our team collected during our donation drive. Thank you to everyone who brought in food, toys, blankets, and more.

A special thanks to the Buddy Dog staff for showing us around and introducing us to a few of the pups waiting for their forever homes.

Tschepitz and Sasha come in from Adam McGrath (@adamcmcgrath) of Cave In (@cave_in_boston). Here’s what Adam said about the pair:

“I have a male and female bonded pair that were adopted new year’s eve 2020 from Buddy Dog Humane Society Inc (@buddydoghumane) in Sudbury MA.

Tschepitz pronounced “cheppits” with nicknames chep or chip is a beige tabby, named after Cave In’s first European tour van driver who is a legend. He is always in a good mood. Always happy to hang with his family. Always greeting you at the door. Sleeps with you and cuddles . He was diagnosed with large cell lymphoma last winter and after chemotherapy treatments he is now in remission. One of the most resilient creatures I’ve ever been around. Still full of life and love and we cherish every moment with him.

Sasha was named after WWE wrestler Sasha Banks. Her name then morphed into Sachi, then to Chi and finally to Chi Chi. We also call her Cheech. She is pretty much the opposite of Tschepitz. She’s is cold as ice. Wants her space and needs to feel safe. She hates guitar, keys, coughing and vacuum cleaners. Everything is on her terms and you only approach at your own risk. She shows her love and appreciation from time to time but ultimately remains stand offish. She’s her own unique being and that’s why I love and respect her.”

Sometimes when you're sad you go to the shelter and get a puppy (which is how we got Indy). Sometimes you get 2. 😂🥰

Welcome to the pack, girls. Names are TBD. ❤️

Thanks @buddydoghumane !!!!!

Happy 15th birthday to Franco! We flew him to @buddydoghumane 13 years ago. His adopters tell us, “Don’t let that handsome senior face fool you - he’s still very active, still barking at birds, and walks with us everyday. His vet still can’t believe how great he’s doing for his age given his size.” He got a special cake for his birthday and his people sang happy birthday to him. Franco is living his best life and we love getting updates about all he does! #allsatorescue #puertorico #rescuedogsofinstagram #woof #happybirthday

This is why we do what we do! A skinny, sweet stray found alone wandering the streets of Vega Alta, PR. Picked up by Ivette and Kevin of Miracles for Satos Rescue. Adopted by an incredibly kind, gentle and amazing animal lover ( my daughter Sam 🥰). Lucky dog, lucky lady. Welcome to the family Shoko Shifka!

All the vendors in this post are tagged, head over to their accounts and give them a follow!
A special thank you to @thewaysideinn for hosting us!
