It’s been a week since we closed Faye’s Room by @alexkmasse and I already miss it, so here’s some production shots of me for you to check out plus some extras so I can make a post to glaze about this show and how much it means to me lol This is actually my sixth attempt getting all I wanted to say into one post since there’s a cap on the description length and I could honestly write a whole personal essay about this play because it’s about neurodivergence, internalized ableism, and self-acceptance and it came into my life mere months after I was diagnosed with combination-type ADHD as an adult which answered so many questions about myself, but also brought upon so much grief for the life I could’ve had if I only knew how to manage the symptoms I was experiencing my whole life that I couldn’t put words to. Which is basically exactly what the character I played, Chase McLure, goes through in this play. I have never resonated with a character more in my entire career, and it was a surreal and unique honour to be able to be a part of this show and play that part starting all the way back in the workshops years ago. Thank you to @glitch.theatre for that, thank you to my incredible cast and crew mates, and thank you to everyone who came out to see the show. It meant the world to us. Here’s to this wonderful little mind bender of a play 🥂(and hopefully a remount in Toronto and/or NYC one day 🤞😜🤞) P.S. special shoutout to the folks that came to see the show FOUR TIMES!!! Y’all are legends, MVPs even 🫶 📸: Moonrider Productions
