🎓 College Prep Grantee Spotlight: Buffalo Prep The Jack and Jill of America Foundation is proud to award a $5,000 College Prep Grant to Buffalo Prep, Inc. in support of its College Prep program, a year-round initiative helping high school scholars across Western New York prepare for college and beyond. Serving scholars in grades 9–12, the program provides academic coaching and tutoring, standardized test preparation, college and career guidance, financial aid and scholarship support, and opportunities for students to experience college campuses firsthand. And the impact speaks for itself. In 2024–2025, 100% of College Prep seniors graduated from high school, 100% were accepted to college, and 100% matriculated into higher education or vocational training. Scholars also secured more than $4.8 million in scholarships. 🎓✨ Through our College Prep Grants, the Foundation invests in organizations creating stronger pathways to higher education. We are proud to support Buffalo Prep as it works to ensure scholars have the guidance, preparation, and opportunities they need to get to and through college. #JackAndJillFoundation #GranteeSpotlight #CollegePrep #BuffaloPrep

One week ago today, we celebrated a very special milestone as our Say Yes Little Scholars graduated from our program at Villa Maria College! 🎓💙 As we reflect on such an incredible day, we are filled with gratitude and want to acknowledge those who joined us in celebration. A special thank you to Dr. Matt Giordano; President and the entire Villa Maria College staff for your continued support of Say Yes Buffalo and our Little Scholars program. Your partnership means so much to us. Thank you to Erie County Deputy Executive Lisa Chimera, Cory McCants for keeping the celebration lively as our host, and Dr. Kathy Evans-Brown Buffalo Public Schools Board President for your inspiring words and unwavering support of our scholars and families on behalf of Buffalo Public Schools. A big thank you, to our Buffalo Prep high school seniors for being great escorts for our scholars! Thank you to our amazing dj, David Paonessa, Ola for the best decor and balloon towers, and our photographer, Kalvin Booker for ensuring we capture these beautiful moments! To our CEO, thank you for always believing in our vision and championing the work we do every day. To our incredible Say Yes Little Scholars teachers and administrative team, thank you for the love, dedication, and commitment you pour into our scholars year-round. And to our caregivers and families thank you for trusting us to be part of your child's educational journey. We often say it takes a village, and this celebration was a beautiful reminder of just how true that is. We are honored to have played a role in helping our scholars learn, grow, and prepare for their next chapter. Congratulations to the Say Yes Little Scholars Class of 2026! 🎉✨ The future is bright, and we can't wait to see all that you accomplish.

📚 From our Gala to their scholars. At this year's Passport to Possibility Gala, we were proud to spotlight Buffalo Prep — a Western New York institution that has been illuminating brilliance since 1989. Buffalo Prep isn't a school — it's a school of thought. They invite academically ambitious, underrepresented youth to participate in a rigorous pipeline of summer and after-school enrichment programs that begin as early as 5th grade and follow scholars all the way through high school and beyond. Serving over 800 Western New York students and alumni annually through programs like Middle School Prep, High School Prep, College Prep, and Alumni Prep, Buffalo Prep works to close the access and opportunity gaps that have long impacted students of color in our community — nurturing the dreamer, the leader, the activist, and the scholar in every student they serve. Trusted Gives was honored to deliver this donation to support their mission of educational equity right here in Buffalo. 💙 To learn more about Buffalo Prep or nominate a student, visit https://ow.ly/lw6f50Z5Bqk #TrustedGives #PassportToPossibility #BuffaloPrep #IlluminatingBrilliance #BuffaloNonprofit #716 #WNY #EducationalEquity #DonationMoment #BuffaloEducation
