The wait is finally over. Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is OUT NOW 🎉 My god, do I have bucketfuls of behind the scenes to post, a making-of documentary I’m editing and lots and lots to say but for now whilst I’m out here in Cologne at Gamescom - enjoy. This game is yours and what an incredible 3.5 years it’s been making it for you. @aplaguetale @focus_entmt @asobo_studio #ResonanceAPlagueTaleLegacy #APlagueTale #NewRelease

I think when anyone moves into a more public space or a particularly public job you have no idea what kinds of people will gravitate towards you and the work you put out into the world. Every single day I feel blown away by the different kinds of people that have found my work or found my stream. I got a PO Box yesterday from @rigagoart and she had sent me her sketchbook… filled with original pencil drawings that she said my streams helped inspire after she’d stopped drawing for years. I had seen a few examples of her sketches over on Discord and said “oh my god these are incredible, do you do this for a living?” and turns out (no she doesn’t?! But) it had encouraged a return to the pencil. I am utterly speechless looking at this book crammed full of talent you just do not see everyday, of my favourite games, my favourite movies, my friends and even my mum and me as a baby. I think this is one of the most meaningful gifts I have ever received and thank you is not enough. I will treasure it… and if you ever want it back I will send it over in a heartbeat because this is all your work and talent.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. It made me cry. And I think if there is anything to take away from this post from both of us 1) You have no idea what the work you do is inspiring in other people and 2) Creativity does not need to be limited to a specific purpose or function. It just can flow when it wants to, be shared or just be for you.
