I've lost count of all the dual barrel guns I've built over the past 18 years but its a lot... If you order a pistol with two barrels it should absolutely come with a slide stop fit to each barrel. It is impossible to guarantee proper long term barrel fit any other way despite what some would have you believe.

And having the parts engraved properly to prevent misidentification is a added bonus. Don't settle, request the best. The math don't lie.

That's the thing about a cold performance. You gotta run what you brung. It so happened that I was able to bring just enough performance that my results still passed muster even though my zero was off by 5MOA of horizontal and 1MOA of vertical deviation.

I called all the shots in the black as they broke but when I approached the target, I saw the obvious left side heavy group that had formed.
So I threw up a new target and sent 10 rounds for a zero check.

The big take away for me was the adjustments needed were the same from each group, one was 4.5"(17MOA) and the other was 1.8" 6MOA but they both told the same story.

The @chamberscustompistols PHTWMG-CC continues to perform. 🎯🔥🎯🔥🎯

Got out to the range with 20 minutes before closin with a simple task: Zero the newly installed Holosun 507Comp on the @chamberscustompistols CC.

50 rounds total down the tube. I'll have to take a LRF out next time to confirm distance. I was told 25y but the sign for the bay said "30y" but I couldn't easily see two different target holders so I put the backer in the furthest distance and called it good. Guess I might be running a 30yZ = #KiltInDaStreetz

I was thankful to find the 507Comp had both tactile and audible clicks. I believe that greatly supports being able to adjust to zero efficiently.

I ran two 10 round groups at the end of the 50 rounds with no adjustments made. Confirmation complete. "THE Click" has been found for this ammunition at this distance in these conditions.

Shot Calling makes zeroing so much easier. If you call the shot there and the round went there, that isn't a click problem, it's a shooter error that you identified in real time. Great job! Remember to leave it out of the equation when determining your sight adjustment.

"Z" "Zephyr" Kylo's #husky he is so cute. Look, what is that? It is finally over! Grandpa learned new tricks. I had to stone a little material on the plate to fit the holosun. Made custom-made screws for it. #chambercustompistols

Function test the gun and was hammer follow. Hold for reset and switch the safety down and "boom." I had to tune the sear spring, change the sear out, and hammer strut assembly. Bushing was missing. Lots of tear down. I got it to work dry and wet 100%.

The sig 365 needed a magazine button swapped out. The other needed a flat trigger. 365 is pretty difficult.

It is for #sightshooter Wendy J. I hope that she loves it. I have 8.5 hrs in these
Time to sleep.

@chamberscustompistols PHTWMG-CC produced 595 37X out of 600 possible points today.

4 of the 5 points down were from the Support Hand Only (labeled WHO on the target, cuz folks see SHO and think "Strong Hand" not "Support Hand")

My big take away, shot calling was on point. The only call that was "off" was that I called one further out than it actually went. I expected the 99 to be a 98. That's the great thing about mechanical advantage, it helps mitigate our errors.

I'm ok with #Bling on guns. I just want it to be where it matters.

Here we go. 585 rounds down the tube and it's time for a deep clean and inspection.

Could it go further with " #JustAddMoreLube ", I'm sure it could, but that's not really the point.

Not only does this let me inspect the initial wear while it's still a relatively low round count, but it also will increase the overall life by reducing unnecessary premature wear by running it so fouled up. Just ask my Staccato P. 😆😆😬

235 rounds down the tube and it's getting it's first wipe down.

At lunch time the @chamberscustompistols PHTWMG-CC knocked out a quick qual. It was only a 24/30, while it's passing, I'm sure I can clean it.

The Course of Fire: 2x 15 round mags
Stage 1: Slow Fire, 100y 10 shots Prone, 4 minutes
Stage 2: Transition Timed, 5 Standing (Slide/Bolt lock reload), 5 Kneeling, 5 Seated, 1 minute 30 seconds
Stage 3: Transition Rapid, 2 Standing, 3 Kneeling, 30 seconds

This is the 100y Rifle "Marksmanship" qualification.

Remember, quals are merely your basic requirement to show enough proficiency to be allowed to operate said piece of equipment.
