People loves to say they’re self made.

I don’t believe that.

And honestly, nothing about me is self made.

Yes, I worked hard. I made difficult choices. I sacrificed a lot.

But I did not do it alone.

There were friends who believed in me when I didn’t even believe in myself. Mentors who told me the truth when I needed it. People who opened doors, gave advice, challenged me, supported me. There were moments where I had to swallow my pride and ask for help.

Moments where I had to surrender and receive. Moments where I invested in myself even when I wasn’t sure it would work.

So when I hear people proudly say they’re “self-made,” I usually don’t buy it.

Because I know what it actually takes to build something real.
You make hard decisions.
You outgrow people.
You protect your peace.
You keep your circle small.
And you become very intentional about who gets access to your life.
Because success is not just about work ethic.
It’s about who you surround yourself with.
It’s about the conversations happening in your inner circle.
The standards you allow around you.
The environment you live in.

Your life is shaped by all of it.
So no, I’m not self made.
I’m built through community, mentorship, hard choices and people who held me to a higher standard.
And I’m deeply grateful for that.

You want to get into my world and get mentored by people in my circles? Let’s have a coffee chat. Link in bio.

✨ There yes moments during Build Stuff when I just pause and think:
yes… this is exactly why we do this.

🎥 Watching Robert Edward Grant on the Build Stuff stage, speaking about responsibility, agency, and writing our own “code for the future,” felt deeply aligned with the kind of conference I’ve been consciously shaping over the years.

💻 We talk so much about systems, AI, automation, performance.
But underneath all of that, there’s a quieter question that matters just as much:

What inner architecture are we building from?

🧠 Robert’s message wasn’t about motivation.
It was about remembering that we are not victims of technology, the world, or even our own past decisions — unless we choose to be.

🛠 As developers, architects, creators, we already understand this language.
We design systems.
We debug.
We refactor.
We take responsibility when something breaks.

This was an invitation to apply the same clarity inward.

🤍 Grateful for this moment.
Grateful for this room.
Grateful for conversations that go beyond code — without leaving it behind.

I broke an arrow with my throat last week 🏹

Standing there at Build Stuff @buildstuffconf feeling the pressure of that arrow against my neck, I realised something profound:

It’s the hesitation that stops us. The resistance to just going for it.

When we can feel our edges being pushing against, that pressure point when we question if it’s even possible for us.

The moments we want to retreat in fear of the perceived pain, or the embarrassment of being seen trying and then it not working out.

Ouch. I know these all too well.

What I know is there is so much energy hemorrhaging out of you when you do not take the step forward without needing to know how it’s going to unfold. In holding back instead of just going for it. In going for it, whilst surrendering to being ok with the possibility of it not working out, for the chance of what if it does?

When this comes up for me, my higher self whispers:
If not you, then who?
If not now, then when?

Because when we are in motion, we are opening ourselves to possibilities beyond our wildest imagination.

What if you claimed: I am no longer holding myself back. I courageously put myself forward before I’m ready.

When we claim the energy we want to embody and with precision direct all our force - we become unstoppable forces that open ourselves to quantum shifts.

And the arrow breaks🏹✨😜

The universe responds to frequency let’s break through hesitation and choose to claim it

What desire are you courageously claiming? ✨

Thank you to @nitachakrabarty for facilitating this powerful initiation. I’ve got my broken arrow on my mirror ledge to keep me in remembering that energy everyday 🌀✨

@stephaniehoule thank you for capturing 🤗🎥

If you missed my talk at @buildstuffconf …

Here’s the truth I shared on stage:

Burnout isn’t about workload.
Leadership isn’t about confidence.
And most people aren’t exhausted from doing too much…

They’re exhausted from being someone they’re not.

Your work personality is often your protection pattern.

Perfectionism.
Over-functioning.
Control.
Withdrawal.
Rigidity.

Not flaws.

Armor.

To the beautiful humans in the room — thank you for letting me meet you behind the armor.

And to the BuildStuff community who couldn’t make it…

I’m giving you access anyway.

I’ve opened my Inner Debugging Diagnostic to everyone at BuildStuff so you can discover:

• your dominant pattern
• the emotional wound behind it
• how it shows up at work and in love
• and where your healing actually begins

Scan for exclusive access

Your real work
isn’t what you build.

It’s who you return to
when you stop protecting yourself.

Hey friends! 👋
For the past few months, I’ve been working on something I’m really proud of — the upcoming Build Stuff 2025 conference @buildstuffconf . And today, I want to invite my friends from all around the globe to join this experience.
Build Stuff 2025 is happening December 3–5 in Vilnius & online. Whether you’re into software development, AI, DevOps, architecture, cloud, or simply love inspiring spaces — this is the event of the year.
This year’s keynote highlight is Sir Robert Edward Grant @robertedwardgrant , a visionary mathematician and polymath bridging science, geometry, and consciousness.
Build Stuff is also known for bringing world-class speakers such as:
🎤 Nikky Kho @nikkykho – global AI strategist & entrepreneur, founder of Real AI Dynamics and Trelais Venture Studio; he will speak about how artificial intelligence transforms business and creativity on a global scale.
🎤 Richard Campbell – a visionary and co-founder of “.NET Rocks!”, speaking about the future directions of software development.
Build Stuff is more than a conference — it’s a place for inspiration, transformation, and meaningful connection.
🎟️ Tickets via my link:
I would love to see familiar faces — from any corner of the world. Let’s meet, learn, and expand together 💛
