🚨 Throwback Thursday! 🐝🦁🏈

Last season, Big Bama State took care of UAPB 44-13 in Montgomery! Te’Sean Smoot threw for 271 yards and 4 TDs, Marcus Harris II broke loose for a 50-yard touchdown, and Andrew Abu-Akel knocked through 3 field goals.

Fast forward to this week — the boys travel to Pine Bluff with a chance to spoil their Homecoming. 👀

Will the boys bounce back and get this season headed back in the right direction? I think so! 🐝🏈💯

🚨 Big Bama State led FAMU 27–14 in the 4th quarter, but a late comeback and a blocked 47-yard FG attempt in the final seconds sealed a heartbreaking 28–27 loss!

The Hornets have now dropped back-to-back games and sit at 3–3 halfway through the season. Despite the slow start, I STILL believe this team has the talent to turn things around!

But it starts THIS WEEK as the boys hit the road to face Arkansas–Pine Bluff for THEIR HOMECOMING!

Our backs are against the wall, but WE AIN’T LAYING DOWN!

What do y’all think? Can Bama State turn this season around? Let me know in the comments! 🐝🏈💬

🚨 Tough one in Daytona for Big Bama State. Bethune-Cookman hands the Hornets a 16-10 loss, but this game was still right there for the taking.

Bama State gave up 337 rushing yards, but the defense came up with some big red-zone stops and forced Bethune-Cookman to settle for field goals instead of touchdowns, which kept us within striking distance all game.

Offensively, we struggled to consistently find a rhythm, but Nemo Hixon’s 65-yard kickoff return gave us a spark late, and Bama State still had a chance to go win the game in the fourth quarter.

Definitely some things to clean up, but the season is far from over. I believe the boys will bounce back, and we’ll be good. Now it’s time to regroup and respond against FAMU.

How do y’all think Bama State responds? 🐝🐍🏈
