At this point it’s obvious this situation has become personal for certain people.

What started as disagreements over content, expectations, payments, and event involvement has now turned into selective screenshots, partial recordings, and public narratives that don’t reflect the full picture.

Over the past couple years we’ve hosted 40+ events and worked with countless vendors, sponsors, media contacts, businesses, and 3 different tracks. Until personal fallout became involved, we never had issues handled this way. Nobody got rich off these events, nobody disappeared with money, and nobody avoided communication.

This was also the only event where we directly involved a charity organization, and despite the narratives being pushed online, the organization still received $841 through the event. We did not have to do that — we chose to because we wanted to support a cause and bring people together.

Were there misunderstandings behind the scenes? Sure. That happens when coordinating events, vendors, sponsors, donations, and multiple personalities. But turning private disagreements into public drama using selective clips and incomplete information is unnecessary and disappointing.

Communication was always open privately, and we were later told directly there were no remaining bills and that the matter was considered closed.

At the end of the day, these events created opportunities, brought people together, and built memories for thousands in the community. We’re proud of that regardless of the noise.

We’re not interested in endless internet drama. We’ve said our piece, kept records of communication, and we’re moving forward.

Talking online is easy. Actually organizing, funding, promoting, and sustaining events consistently is a lot harder than it looks.
