🌱 WHO TAUGHT YOU YOUR PACE?

When I was learning to run, I asked Abi questions about EVERYTHING! What is pace? How do I run slower? What should my goals be? Meanwhile, she was questioning my running and eating habits! 😂 Through those conversations, I learned more about her athletic background.

Then I met Ashley, who had already run a couple of marathons. She helped me better understand my pace, how to maintain and improve it, and the importance of fueling and recovering.

Fast forward to Chicago…I told Abi we were in town, and she veered off from her bike crew to come see us! 🥹🫶🏾 What started as a visit turned into me witnessing Abi, an experienced triathlete herself, pouring into Ashley before her FIRST triathlon!

The same person who once taught me was now teaching someone who had been teaching me. FULL CIRCLE! 🙌🏾 Appreciate those who pour into you, but remember YOU are responsible for stewarding what you’ve been given. 🌱
