Shoutout to KLAB representatives Lydia and Anas for leading the Website Development Workshop as part of today’s @bukhc Professional Development Day co-curricular! 💼🤝📑

Their presentation taught students the usefulness of creating a personal website to accessibly showcase their experiences and accomplishments to employers, recruiters, and admissions officers. Students were guided through using free online website creation platforms, including options to integrate AI for a more efficient process.🌟

Thank you to everyone who joined us!

Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket and came out to cruise with Kilachand! 🚢💙 We had the best time hanging out with students from all class years and dancing the Cha Cha Slide together on the dance floor :)

Big shoutout to everyone who filled out the feedback form and submitted photos of themselves and their friends! We loved looking through all your memories and have gone over your feedback to make next year’s riverboat cruise even better!

As always, your KLAB reps have some super fun things in store for the rest of the semester! If you loved the boat cruise, you’ll love what’s coming next. We can’t wait to share more soon! 👀

Kylee Liabeuf (CAS / GRS / KHC ‘26), a graduating senior majoring in Political Science with a minor in Public Policy, shares her experience as a repeat MetroBridge student.

Through MetroBridge’s connections and matchmaking, her class in Fall 2025 worked with the City of Boston Office of Nightlife Economy and the Local Policy Analysis Lab course (PO 524) taught by Professor David Glick: Kylee and her classmates researched and analyzed potential nightlife development in Boston’s historic Nubian Square in Roxbury.

She also participated in a Fall 2025 project with Professor Katherine Levine Einstein’s Inequality and American Politics course (PO 519) with the City of Boston Planning Advisory Council (@bostonplans) and Housing Innovation Lab diving into barriers to accessing affordable housing among different vulnerable populations.

Kyleee emphasizes how soft and hard skills gained from her experiential learning opportunities in classes have further inspired her interest in using policy to create applied and meaningful change in communities like those she worked on last fall!
