POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

One thing about my little brother Buku… he was ALWAYS going to make you listen to his music! 😂🎶❤️

It didn’t matter where we were, what we were doing, or if you were in the middle of a conversation. If he made a new song, YOU WERE HEARING IT! 🤣🔥 He was so proud of his craft, and he wanted the whole world to hear what he was creating.

Looking back, those are the little moments I miss the most. The excitement in his voice, the smile on his face, and the way he would watch your reaction just to see if you were feeling it. Music wasn’t just something he did. Music was WHO HE WAS. 💔

I never imagined there would come a day when I wouldn’t get to hear him say, “Listen to this!” again. 😔

And that’s exactly why I’ll never stop sharing his music. Because every song he left behind is another piece of him we get to hold on to. He spent his life trying to get people to hear his sound, and I’ll spend mine making sure his voice never goes silent.

You wanted the world to hear you, Buku. I promise I’m going to keep making sure they do. 🕊️🎤❤️

Your music lives on. Your name lives on. Your legacy lives on.

IT’S BUKU BITCH! 🔥❤️ Go STREAM his shit

8 months without you, Jalen. 💔🕊️

Eight months… and somehow the world keeps moving like it didn’t stop the day we lost you.

I still have moments where I expect to hear your voice, see your face, hear your music, or watch you walk through the door. Then reality hits all over again—you’re really gone. And there is no preparing your heart for that kind of pain.

You weren’t just my little brother. I looked at you as my own child. Loving you came so naturally, and losing you has left a space in me that nothing will ever fill.

I miss your goofiness. I miss your energy. I miss the little things I never realized I would give anything to experience one more time. I miss being able to call you, talk to you, worry about you, laugh with you, and simply know you were here.

Eight months of learning how to live in a world that no longer has you in it. Eight months of tears, memories, anger, silence, and trying to find strength when some days I have none left.

But I promise you this, Buku—you will never be forgotten.

Your music will continue to be heard. Your story will continue to be told. Your name will continue to be spoken. Your memories will continue to live through all of us who loved you.

I’ll keep carrying you with me for the rest of my life. Until the day I get to see that goofy smile again, I’ll love you from here. ❤️

8 months gone. A lifetime to miss you.
Forever my little brother. Forever my Buku.

We miss you so much JJ 💔

Your life mattered, and justice will come 🤍

Some days, I feel like I’m suffocating beneath the weight of my own emotions.

Every day, I’m reminded that this is my reality now—a reality I never asked for and still don’t know how to accept.

Loving you was the easiest thing I ever did. You were simply a part of my heart, my life, my world.

But learning how to live without you… that’s the part I can’t seem to figure out.

I miss your voice. I miss your presence. I miss the little things I never realized I’d one day desperately wish I could have back.

Grief is loving someone with nowhere to put all that love.

And I will carry that love for you for the rest of my life. 🕊️

I’ll love you forever Jalen❤️

I don’t think people understand what it’s like to lose your little brother.

I can smile. I can laugh. I can go about my day. I can even have moments where I feel okay… but that doesn’t mean I’m okay.

Because underneath all of that is the fact that you’re gone.

And I fucking hate that.

I hate that I can’t call you. I hate that I can’t hear your voice. I hate that I can’t watch you grow older. I hate that there will be no more random conversations, no more stupid jokes, no more arguing, no more watching you be you.

There are moments I still catch myself thinking, “I gotta tell Jalen this.” And then reality hits me all over again.

You were supposed to be here.

You were supposed to have more birthdays. More music. More memories. Possible kids. Possible marriage. More life.

I wasn’t supposed to have to learn how to live in a world without my little brother.

Some days I’m angry. Some days I’m broken. Some days I just miss you so badly that there aren’t even words for it.

And honestly, I don’t want people to tell me that time will make it easier.

Because I don’t want to get used to you being gone.

I just want you back.

I’d give anything for one more hug. One more conversation. One more laugh. One more chance to tell you I love you.

I miss you, Jalen. Every damn day.

Your life didn’t end when you left this world. You’re still here—in your music, in our memories, in the stories we tell, and in every person who loved you.

I’ll carry you with me for the rest of my life.

Forever my little brother. Forever @bukutensai @bukumanee . 🕊️💔 go run all Buku’s music up 🤍 #artist #bukutensai

As a family we been through so much since Jalen was murdered, just to still be living a nightmare. @elysseangelaa needs all the love and support to get through this. No donation is too small to help her. I know times can be tough and you may not be able to help, but with every share there is a potential someone on your friend list can. https://gofund.me/d0e007746.
