Kognitiv discodans. 20.03 i P3 eller appen Sveriges Radio.

Artist highlight: Bukva Sound presents: Response, N.E. Girl, Vilhelm Hasselgren & Boj Lucki (DJ)

Bukva Sound has quickly established itself as a central platform for breakbeat culture in Sweden. Since its foundation by Boj Lucki in 2021, Bukva has worked to bridge the Scandinavian jungle movements with the UK’s foundational sound and wider global scene. We couldn’t be more excited to have Bukva present a showcase at the cutting-edge of jungle, hardcore and drum & bass, featuring Response, N.E. GIRL, and a b2b by Vilhelm Hasselgren and Boj Lucki.

Straight from Manchester, Response brings hypnotic emotional jungle and d&b shaped by deep atmospheres and hardcore pressure.

Nairobi-born, South London-raised N.E. GIRL channels sound system energy into fast, precise and momentum-driven club sets.

One of Sweden’s most exciting new talents, Vilhelm Hasselgren moves between jungle, ambient textures and dubstep, balancing immersion with rhythmic intensity. Standing alongside him is the veteran and architect Boj Lucki himself, whose presence in the scene stretches back two decades. Together, they capture the past, present and future of local scene-building.

Bukva Sound presents will expand the festival’s rhythmic spectrum with a focused breakbeat statement: physical, uncompromising and firmly rooted.

||| FIRST ARTIST RELEASE |||

We’re proud to unveil the first round of acts for Norbergfestival 2026!

We got blown-out vocal experiments by 𝗘𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗵𝗶, filthy hardcore gabber by 𝗚𝗿𝘂𝘃𝗴𝘂𝗯𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗮, gloopy “gnom ‘n’ bass” by 𝗹𝗼𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮, makina mayhem by 𝗔𝗹𝗶 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲, and visceral DIY noise by 𝗙𝗮𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗮 and 𝗝𝗲𝗻𝗮 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗴.

𝗛ü𝗺𝗮 𝗨𝘁𝗸𝘂 will present a special rendition of her harrowing and cathartic album Dracones inside of Mimer’s acoustic setting, while 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗼 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁 bring their exploratory ambient and free improv using trombone, double bass and bass clarinet.

We welcome two of the most mindbending live acts to come out of the recent waves of hybridized electronic dance music – 𝗴𝗶 traversing the borders of IDM, techno and ambient, and 𝗛𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗧𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 pushing halftime drum & bass, techno and dub. Legendary duo 𝗦𝗛𝗫𝗖𝗫𝗖𝗛𝗖𝗫𝗦𝗛 return after 13 years for a special extended live set of their brainy industrial techno.

Finally, it’s time we invited label-platform 𝗕𝘂𝗸𝘃𝗮 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 to showcase a cutting-edge mix of ruff and textural jungle, hardcore and drum & bass from across Scandinavia and the UK.

This is just the tip of the iceberg and we look forward to sharing more over the following months.
