Picpak E-Ink Digital Photo Display. This thing is awesome! 1 charge lasts up to an entire YEAR & it flips through up to 500 Pictures! How insane is that?! I can’t decide if I want to put it on my fridge (it has a magnet) Or keep it at my set up using the pick stand. Equally loving laying it flat for flat lays so many options I’m spoilt for choice 🤭🥰

Happy Saturday! 🍃🤍

A long time since I posted, and a little move around of my set up but it looks much cleaner now.
It’s been so sunny this week in the UK, starting to feel like spring! 🌺
I’m off today and my main goal - start Crimson Desert. I have been waiting for this game for so long., I really hope it lives up to expectations! Has anyone else played it yet, if so what do you think? Let me know!
.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend 🌱

Recieved my preorder of Endgame yesterday and have happily added it to the small list of books I hope to finish this month! Because I am a sucker for preorder incentives, I ordered the bundle that came with goodies! Character art, a spicy page overlay, stickers, and a bookmark! I did not know I'd be getting this cute little card with an apple pie recipe!
▸
I've been not patiently waiting for this book to come out! It's been plastered all over my social media, and the advertising for it has just been so cute! I'm so glad it's finally here, and I can't wait to read it!

Finally getting around to making a post of my RE9 Deluxe Edition! I'm honestly still so bummed we didn't get a Collector's Edition, but I'm glad that I at least have this for my collection!
▸
I absolutely loved Requiem, it was definitely what I was hoping for! I've had so much fun playing it, and obsessing a little over Leon 👀 But honestly, the game is so good. I absolutely loved going back to the RPD the most. It made me feel so nostalgic, and now I'm thinking of replying RE2R again!
▸
I'd definitely love to know your thoughts on Requiem if you played!

In February, I decided to push myself back into reading again! So I ended up reading five books, which is more than I read all of last year! So here are the five books I finished in February! I actually can not find my physical copy of Meet Cute for some reason. I could have sworn I took over to the library and now I can't find it! 🫠
▸
Out of all five books, The Last Letter by Rebecca Yarros was my absolute favorite. It was heartbreaking and utterly beautiful. I enjoyed it the most! My least favorite was definitely Meet Cute. I loved the idea of an advent calendar book, but the majority of the stories felt very lackluster to me or I just didn't vibe with the writing style!
▸
Have you read anything recently? Or have you read any of these books?

Resident Evil Requiem is finally out! I'm currently taking a little break from the game because it's nice out and my daughter wants to play outside! Parenting comes first! 😂
▸
So far, I'm definitely loving the game! We actually ran to gamestop this morning because my Deluxe Edition preorder is running late, and I was not willing to wait! Plus the Deluxe doesn't come with a regular case for the game. Since I plan to display the Steelbook, I wanted a regular case to fit in with my collection! Also, I managed to get one of the little tote bags from gamestop, which I'm so happy about! ☺️
▸
No spoilers in this post, since I haven't gotten very far yet, just wanted to pop on here and share my excitement for the game! Hopefully my steelbook will arrive tomorrow, and I can do a little unboxing for it!

Hey everyone!👋
I thought I’d do a new introduction post, and a face reveal!
Recently I have been struggling to manage this page due to how busy I’ve been, but I’ve met some wonderful people on here, so would be a shame to just give it all up.. so here goes! A fresh start!

- I’m Lauren
- I live in South Yorkshire, UK
- I am 30 years old
- An elder emo, I absolutely love metal, dad rock, any sort of rock music to be honest. I also love country, D&B, you name it!
- I am a manager of a coffee shop, 200 Degrees and have an absolutely wonderful team.
- I’m a huge Zelda fan, but I’m definitely a variety gamer. Some of my other favourite games include RDR, Horizon, Banishers and plenty of horror games, and this is what I’ll be starting from here on out!
- I love coffee, food, travelling when I can and I’m a huge introvert at heart. I love being in my own space but I always love meeting new people.
- I have met some wonderful people and i would continue to love to do so, feel free to always chat to me!
.
I have also tagged some of my faves. ✨
.
I look forward to being more active on here again ❤️

The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern
❝𝘞𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘶𝘴𝘵 & 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴.❞ 🐝🗝🗡

Omg..bruuhh, please bury me with this book, as well as 𝘗𝘪𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘪, as they are my reason for living & getting to witness great stories such as these. This has made its mark on me forever. Ntm, one of the characters has the same name as me (different spelling though), there are slight mentions of Harry Potter themes, as well as video games terminology. I ate this sh*t up ya'll! It did not disappoint, for me at least. The Starless Sea is a beautifully written, atmospheric novel about hidden libraries, fate, & the power of stories. Ms. Morgenstern creates a dreamlike world filled with symbolism & layered narratives that feel magical & immersive.

Note to self:

...my favorite kind of escape. The moment I open a book, the world around me softens and fades, and I step into somewhere entirely new. Between the pages, I can be anyone, go anywhere, feel everything a little deeper. Books let me wander through different lives, different hearts, different worlds — all while sitting still. When reality feels heavy or loud, stories are where I find quiet, comfort, and clarity. I don’t just read books… I get lost in them, and somehow, in getting lost, I find myself again.

*Side note: My school agers wanted me to do baby blue
nails, so I got them done as a french manicureᡣ𐭩
