Highlighting one of the speakers from our entrepreneurial workshop, Chrislord Pierre!

Thank you @chrslord for volunteering your time to work with the kids from @mydiscoveru in our program! Chrislord shared his personal success story, going from only having one pair of shoes to being able to buy every shoe he dreamed of having as a kid. Chrislord taught the kids the importance of network and that with the right connection and a whole lot of hard work you could achieve anything!

Accompanying Chrislord’s speech was the “sneaker cleaning kit”. Our workshops being aimed at inspiring young people to start their own businesses, Chrislord encouraged the kids to think critically about a potential startup and shared the ins and outs of his successful sneaker business.
