Programming these raw @bullyfingersd SP-12 one-shot drum sounds live on the eSPi emulator, then chopping @kountkoal sample 🛰️🔥
There is nothing quite like that authentic, grit-heavy 12-bit linear crunch on the low end. Standard SP-1200 stock sounds just don’t hit with the same weight as these processed cuts. Massive shoutout to @low_hiss for building the ultimate emulator to run them on.

Beat 945 — “9 AND A .45” feat @wiswiz 🎚️
We went for a pure grimey, revolutionary vibe on this one. It all started with the “12-Bit Drums Redux” from @bullyfingersd on the Ableton Push, mixed with an insane orchestral sample we dug up from @westrosemusiclibrary (shoutout @craigrip!).
For the extra spice, I threw on my new go-to semi-modular synth: @pulsarmodular “Zorba” which just dropped a few days ago. The built-in plate reverb on this thing is gorgeous.
🔥 PRODUCERS: @wiswiz pulled up a certain @officialslumvillage track the second he heard these drum swings. Can you guess which track it was? 👇

Beat 941 - “I’m Having Funn” today was about experimentation when playing with the new @pulsarmodular Zorba—a gorgeous and lush, yet gritty synth, along with one shots from @bullyfingersd 12 bit Drums Redux plus additionally Lofi lush synth layers from Reel Synth by @partybagplugins and a few additional sample layers from @splice samples as add spice.
