Queer Conscience 2026
On view until September 4

If you haven’t already, come by this week during our open hours to see this beautiful collection of photographs.

“The call for this exhibition reminds us that queer rights are under attack unlike ever before. This year, Queer Conscience is positioned within this tension, seeking to push back against these forces while affirming our lived and embodied truths through photography. The works gathered here do precisely that: they affirm and they resist-formally, politically, affectively, and poetically.” - Conor Moynihan @cmb_curates (QC 2026 juror)

Scenes from this past year’s Portfolio Program. In addition to meeting weekly, there are a range of community events, and creative offerings to facilitate interdisciplinary practice and collaboration across tracks. Artists and writers enrolled in the program also have the opportunity to read and share work in progress at the Portfolio Program reading series, which take place quarterly.
📍
This is a program that brings together creative writing, visual art, and studio practice and is designed for writers and artists looking to sustain a creative practice in a cohort setting. Applications are still open through the weekend 💫

Another Pride for the books. I left my schedule open ended and had a blast bouncing around from party to party.
Started the weekend with @buckstuff4 birthday and continued on through Sunday. It’s always good to see familiar faces old and new. I love our community here in Seattle.
HAPPY PRIDE EVERYONE

Thanks to @queersocialclub.pdx, a shoutout in @willametteweek, and The Gays™️, we packed out the house for the first edition of Sordid Behavior at @thenoshpitpdx!

We’re back on Tuesday, May 26th with another round of saucy, adults-only comedy, storytelling, and more.

Until then, let’s scissor our booties enthusiastically for last month’s inaugural lineup:

• Mx. Dahlia Belle (@mx.dahliabelle)
• Megan Otto (@mottobot)
• IMANI 🍕 (@imanigotmilk)
• Wayne Bund (@bundlandia)

Plus, your hosts @jjs_iii and @delphinedanger.

Thank you to @steelelaughing for holding down the bar and @lensssay_photography for these lovely pics.

And an extra special thank you to The Noshpit for believing that a sexy lil comedy show could succeed at a sandwich bar.

If you were there, we hope you had a great time! If you weren’t there, we hope to see you NEXT time!

Mark those calendars for May 26 and get ready to bust a gut (we regretted it as soon as we typed it).

Opening Reception: Saturday, June 6, 2026 - 5PM-7PM

The Image Flow invites photographic artists closely tied to the LGBTQIA2+ community to submit work to our 4th Annual juried photography exhibition, Queer Conscience 2026.

We probably don’t need to inform you that queer rights are under attack, unlike ever before. Queer Conscience seeks to push back against these forces and affirm our own truths through the photographic medium.

In this juried exhibition, set to coincide with Pride month, we ask queer artists to express their resistance and share their truest queer journeys with us. Join us in celebrating our community and our creativity with a clear conscience.

Juried by:
- Conor Moynihan, @cmb_curates
- Nathan Lomas, @nathanlomas.art
- The Image Flow Staff
