A couple of days ago I made a reel about how my dog has been scared of me ever since I became a wheelchair user. He's visited me a few times in the 8 months I've been in hospital and when I call to him he'd run to me and the see the wheelchair then run away again. He'd try and come and say hi to me but was so scared of the wheelchair and still cautious of me even when I got out of it. It broke my heart because he was my baby, we got him 5 years ago when my mental health started getting bad to help me and he has been a lifeline for me and everytime I go into hospital I miss my little baby so much. He's a cheeky boy but I love him with all of my heart. Anyway, the video reached - A LOT - of people and your guys comments of encouragement and advice, I read every single one and when he came to see me today, I tried out your suggestions and he sat on my lap 3 times and gave me lots of cuddles and it just felt like normal. Thank you so much everyone, I feel like I've got my baby boy back and I can't be more grateful 💙
