Stall Spotlight: “BUNNY BISSOUX (they/them) is an artist, illustrator and writer entangled with obsessive fanaticism and imagined narratives. Their work merges recurring themes including popular culture, gender, desire, queer identity, consumerism, nostalgia, sports, slogans, idols, obsession and romance. Drawing, collecting, zine-making and self-publishing are integral parts of their creative practice, recently exploring grief and displacement through personal archives and cultural research. After 11 years living in Tokyo, Japan, Bunny currently holds a studio in Birmingham, UK.” As I work in a variety of forms and mediums, self publishing and zine-making are a frequent outcome of my creative work. Through zines I can blur the boundaries of my art, illustration, writing, photography, collage and collected ephemera in varied and experimental ways to create new forms. Many of my publications incorporate meticulous elements such as hand-cut vintage magazine pages, film inlays, stickers, trading cards and one-of-a-kind features. ✨ Main sponsor: @itsinnottingham 📅 Saturday, 24th October 2026 | 10:00–3:30 📍 Nottingham Central Library 💥 Free entry – all welcome! #NottsZineFest #ZineCulture #IndependentPublishing #NottinghamEvents #diypublishing
