3 years in Japan today!!!

Hokkaido continues to be as breathtaking of a place to me since the first time I set foot on it.

I do miss city life from time to time though (and my long hair)

But nature always brings me joy beyond comparison.

I still forget to stretch before runs sometimes.
But the jerry gap is no more (thank you Porge for getting me right)

While Hokkaido weather constantly reminds me not to get caught lacking.

Something I haven’t shown or talked much about in my experience is that finding jobs through the seasons/years has made life the most unstable it’s ever been 😮‍💨

But a big trade-off is that I’ve been able to experience so many different things in a place I grow to love more and more.

I somehow have managed to still do things I love.

Especially exploring new places 🏔️

The food has been unreal of course. But If I’m being honest, I’ve been eating out less and less these days.

I feel like Japan has a way of humbling me / reminding me to be thankful.

There are so many wicked people I’ve been able to meet that have inspired me and/or helped me immensely.

Some, like me, have also come from other countries. But they doing their damn T H I N G over here!!!

Last year, I finally learned how to properly whisk matcha🙈
(If you’ve known me long enough you might know how significant this is for me lol)

And it’s become a nearly daily ritual (not drinking ceremonial grade every day, mind you)

Work has been unreal! Equal parts busy and fun ⚖️

And I have never before logged so many days on my board or been buried in as much snow in one season. It’s now been 3 of these!!!

It ain’t perfect, but life ain’t too heck!

I feel like I’m getting a better grip on things 🤙
(Dead set on getting this cleaner this season)

Anyways, saying this all to say I’m still out here fam!!!
