Bunsik Bunsik has finally arrived in Coventry, bringing its popular Korean street food to the city! Known for its Korean corn dogs, cheesy fillings & bold flavours, Bunsik is a go to spot for anyone looking to try Korean street food. I went for the Half & Half Korean Corn Dog, topped with Buldak mayo, cheese & honey butter powder. The corn dog has the best of both worlds, combining a savoury sausage (chicken) with stretchy mozzarella cheese, all wrapped in a golden, crispy coating. The crunchy exterior contrasts nicely with the soft filling inside, making every bite satisfying. The toppings really bring everything together. The Buldak mayo is generously drizzled over the corn dog, adding a creamy, spicy kick, while the cheese brings extra richness & cheesiness. The honey butter powder adds a sweet, buttery flavour that balances out the heat from the Buldak mayo & the savoury sausage. That combination of sweet, spicy & cheesy flavours makes this a proper indulgent treat, with each topping bringing something different to the overall taste. Although Korean corn dogs are their signature, there’s plenty more to explore on the menu, including crispy Korean fried chicken with flavours such as honey garlic, sweet & spicy, garlic mayo & Buldak mayo. They also offer tteokbokki, which are chewy Korean rice cakes served in a spicy sauce, kimbap, Korean style rice rolls, cup bap rice bowls topped with chicken or katsu curry, plus chicken wraps, fried dumplings & other sides. Overall, the Half & Half Korean Corn Dog is a great choice if you’re after something crispy, cheesy & packed with flavour, & best of both worlds. With Bunsik now open in Coventry, it’s exciting to have another spot in the city serving Korean street food favourites. If you’re a fan of Korean corn dogs with a combination of sweet & spicy toppings, this is definitely one to try! @bunsik_uk 📍Coventry #bunsik #coventryfood #koreanstreetfood #koreancorndog #foodiefinds
