This past Saturday, I graduated with my Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Bethel University.

This school gives me such a deep sense of pride and has shaped me in more ways than I ever expected. Through this journey in educational leadership, I’ve had the opportunity to serve the students on the cheer team, which has been such a gift from the Lord. Getting the chance to be the salt and light on campus and in these students’ lives has genuinely changed my life.

Thank you to my amazing husband, Max, for always supporting me, stepping in wherever needed, and walking alongside me through it all. I truly could not have done this without you.

To my mom, thank you for always being one call or drive away throughout my entire educational journey. I look up to you so much and am so grateful for the example you’ve set as an incredible educator and leader.

And to the rest of my family, thank you for constantly stepping in to support the team, my life, and my faith. I love and appreciate you all more than you know.

Thank you to the cheer team for buying into the trajectory of this program and for accepting and loving Max and me as your coaches. Balancing everything wasn’t always easy, and I’m grateful for the times you stepped up when it was needed. I’ve seen growth in how you’ve supported each other and taken on responsibility. I am proud of you and excited for where we’re headed.

I’m so grateful for the staff and faculty at Bethel for continuing to invest in my growth professionally, academically, and spiritually over the past few years.

I love being a Bethel Pilot. It feels like just yesterday I walked across that stage for my undergraduate degree. I never could have imagined the impact this school would have on my life, but looking back now, I can clearly see the stepping stones God placed along the way to lead me here and allow me to do His work with Christ at the helm.

I am so grateful, more than words can express 💙⚓️
