LAST CHANCE to come visit WELLNESS SATURDAY 03.10.2026 + SUNDAY 04.10.2026 13:00-18:00, Garage at Förstergasse 8, 1020 Come by, say hi, and experience the multi sensory exhibition one last time with or without a glass of wine or alcohol-free Verjus by @weingut.gassner, closing the @viennadesignweek Thank you @ptrwal and @deinefranz for the amazing photos ♡ „Come with me: this is my morning routine to become the best version of yourself. Wake up at 5 a.m., hot girl walk, pilates, ice cold shower, skin care, supplements, no coffee but matcha, journaling, mediation.“ In today’s understanding, wellness is increasingly embedded in the logic of a capitalist, performance-driven society. Well-being is no longer understood as an inner state, but as a visible achievement that must be produced, optimized, and presented. The promise is always the same: a healthier, more successful life. The body becomes a project of constant improvement, resting a productive activity, and self-care yet another form of work. Wellness appears as a universal formula and a digital buzzword for self-actualisation and well-being. What promises to slow us down ultimately follows the same mechanisms that shape our everyday lives: efficiency, comparability, availability, and discipline. Yet a fundamental question remains: When did we lose the ability to listen to our inner voice? And what does wellness mean to us as individuals? How can we find our way back to sensory experience, intuition, and a sense of well-being? LAST DAY - LAST CHANCE TO SEE TIMESKIP @galerie_rauminhalt FINISSAGE - SATURDAY 05.09.2026 18:00-20:00 Schleifmühlgasse 13 Bar Fomo with drinks by @grieskirchner & @weingut.gassner, while stock lasts ＼＼\\٩( ‚ω‘ )و //／／ TIMESKIP marks Christoph Wimmer-Ruelland’s first solo exhibition at Galerie Rauminhalt, continuing the speculative world of „We never named them until it was sure they would survive“. Spanning three rooms with over 20 new works alongside earlier pieces, the exhibition expands an ongoing body of research into prepper culture, survivalist thought, and the environmental consequences of mass production. Set within a speculative future where industrial manufacturing has collapsed, TIMESKIP deepens a world in which objects are stripped of their predetermined meaning and reassembled into fluid, modular systems.

Through this evolving fiction, the exhibition reflects on how scarcity reshapes production, adaptation, and humanity’s enduring attachment to consumption, questioning not only what we make, but what we choose to preserve, while defining past, present and future human needs.

On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, VIENNA DESIGN WEEK is taking a little trip. In 2026, the festival leaves Vienna and moves through Europe — setting up temporary interventions, aperitivos, and unexpected encounters in off-locations together with changing guests. Less exhibition, more situation. From Brussels to Milan, from Frankfurt to La Rioja, the tour activates the VDW network and brings its take on design — social, curious, and a bit stubborn — into new contexts. On the road with: 14.3 — Collectible @collectiblefair , Brussels with Bureau Fomo @bureaufomo 21.4 — Fuorisalone, Milan with Laura Karasinski @atelierkarasinski 30.5 — Křehký Mikulov @krehky_prague , Mikulov with Eva Zangerle & Rainer Grilberger @evamariazangerle @rainer2g 5.6 — World Design Capital 2026 @wdc2026 , Frankfurt with Tisch 7 @tisch.sieben 20.6 — Concéntrico @concentricofestival , La Rioja with Liza Sočan & Gaja Pegan Nahtigal @torte0.0 & @fromgaja A moving network of places, people, drinks, conversations — and a preview of what’s to come. The VIENNA DESIGN WEEK Anniversary tour is funded by the Federal Ministry of Housing, Arts, Culture, Media and Sport Graphics: @studio.sirene

More highlights and people of the first stop of @viennadesignweek ’s 20th Anniversary Tour across Europe ♡ Hosted in Brussels in collaboration with @bureaufomo during @collectiblefair （╹◡╹）♡ Captured with Digicams by the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK team, symbolizing the spontaneous and social nature of the events. This medium will be repeated throughout the upcoming stops of the tour through Europe, stay tuned ♪(*^^)o∀*∀o(^^*)♪ For one evening @vitesse.lab became a temporary Viennese “Souvenir Stop and Shop”, operating between exhibition, retail space, and social gathering. The evening brought together limited-edition objects by designers connected to the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK and Bureau Fomo network, a presentation of Vienna-based transdisciplinary practices, and an informal bar serving Austrian drinks, offering a relaxed moment to meet, exchange, and preview the upcoming anniversary edition.
