About last night … I had the time of my life making music with these guys at @whitesquirrelbar Thanks to Mom for capturing these moments while we celebrated the release of my new EP #LessonsInTheLiving and my solo #NewEngland tour homecoming.

In addition to harmonies the boys of @burning_blue_rain showed off their skills by swapping instruments … even in mid-song. Sincerely, I feel blessed!

Big love to everyone for coming and making the night real special. 💛

It’s 4/20 and another Monday is upon us. For many of us it’s yet another start to a work week. If you find yourself with a case of the Mundays there is no better certified cure than celebrating 4/20 and joining me tonight at 7pm on Rabbit Hole Radio MN for Minnesota Musics Mondays.

Who are the lucky folk chosen to fulfill their destiny’s tonight? Great question.

First, we’re going to help Leslie Vincent Music celebrate the release of her stellar new record and spin a jam from that new gem. I will also have music from the likes of Colin Bracewell, Pullstring, The Stress of Her Regard, Dylan Hicks, taylor james donskey, Stone Arch Rivals, They Dead, Burning Blue Rain, Sammie Jean Cohen, Samuel Wilbur and Emily Haavik & the 35s.

As 2025 ends, Summit Presents is taking a moment to look back on a year packed with music, collaboration, & a whole lot of heart.

✨ Launch Adventures
It was an honor to work with @burning_blue_rain , @katytessmanmusic , @nobody.from.nowhere.band , & @heartlandsouvenirs on their album releases this year; each project deserved every bit of the spotlight it earned. From regional radio play to national tour stops to thoughtful feature articles, it’s a joy to see these artists reaching meaningful momentum and well-earned visibility.

🧭 North by Summit
We introduced three standout national singer songwriters to Minnesota audiences this year, including @missashtyn from Fayetteville, @aidanburkeofficial from Chicago, and @tkrosemusic from Nashville. Watching them welcomed so warmly by this community, was a joy in itself.

🎶 Landmark Events
We curated and presented memorable concert experiences while building a strong community of artists and audiences. Highlights included Mama Hellcats @thehookmpls , Leading Ladies of Americana @thecabooze , and the MN Songwriter Women Under the Influence of Women showcase @astercafe

🎤 Regional Conference Showcase Presenter
In October, we presented a showcase of stunning songwriters at the @farmfolkfai Conference, artists whose work reflects the heart of Minnesota.

🌟 Campaign Navigator
This year we were proud to support @maggiesfarmtheater ’s capital campaign by partnering on marketing efforts for the fundraiser concert featuring @houndsoffinn (duo). The event drew a near–sold-out audience and demonstrated how strong, coordinated outreach can rally community support and sustain vital local arts spaces.

📝 Melodic Noise Media Contributor
This year, we began contributing to @melodicnoisemedia as a volunteer writer. Their mission to spread the good news about local music aligns perfectly with our commitment to uplifting independent artists.

Thank you to everyone who listened, attended a show, shared a song, or championed an artist this year. Your support fuels everything we do.

As both an artist advocate and a musician in Minnesota’s music scene, I witness firsthand the creativity and passion that define our community. The bold innovation of @burning_blue_rain , the evocative storytelling of @cassandrajohnsonmusic , the soulful mastery of instrumental guitar by @thedailynorm1586 , the fearless expression of bold country by @claytonrcryan , and the dynamic collaboration of @bz3_organ_trio are clear testaments to the rich talent emerging in our state. Each nominee brings a distinct voice and energy that challenges conventional boundaries while enriching our local musical landscape. Selecting just five new artists is no easy task—but it’s a reflection of the diverse and thriving creative ecosystem that continues to inspire us all.
