1 Year.

I’ve had a great year showcasing this project. Peace to all involved and the most high gratitude for your collaboration and support.

Completing this project and producing the vinyl / merch was a huge milestone for me. I spent nights on graveyard working through every little detail and piece needed to bring this one to life. I want to continue to allow the music and what it means to grow and evolve. As a professional creative this showed me I could really do whatever I want, A-Z, the information is there, the resources are there, just don’t be afraid to ask for help.

Thank you to everyone who purchased and took their time to listen.

This time last year i was knee deep in product ideation

Life lately 🥹🫶🏻 I’ve been realizing that a good life doesn’t always look like something BIG is happening. Lately, mine has looked like moving my body, being with people I love, finding community in rooms where we’re all doing hard things together, and saying yes to parts of myself I thought I’d left behind (oof that’s a hard one).

Somehow that even included getting back on stage and singing for the first time in nearly 10 years, which reopened a little piece of me I didn’t realize I missed so much. 🥹

I talk a lot about joyful movement and learning to love and trust yourself, but I want to share more of the life happening around those things too.

And lately? Life has been pretty damn sweet. 💕✨

AN ELLE S. DEE TRIP [DELUXE EDITION] — 💿

in honor of bandcamp friday, i wanted to share the CD design for my debut album—which is available for purchase via bandcamp! :)

i am always very inspired by vinyl records and like to explore my collection of physical media for inspo instead of relying solely on pinterest. upon my digging, i noticed a few CDs in my collection had designs that looked like a record. the first being music soulchild’s juslisen and this collection of motown classics i recently got at an estate sale. another CD that followed this formula is miles davis’ kind of blue. the case looks like a record sleeve which i found to be so cool!

i knew i wanted a jewel case and a booklet that reminded me of being a tween reading the lyrics to all the albums that raised me. and from there the vision was formed!

as an independent artist who is also the graphic designer, marketing strategist, creative director and manufacturer i did all of the execution from end to end myself!

the album cover was printed and scanned on real LSD blotting sheets and each CD is hand burned and assembled by me. i like being able to have a physical touch on the process and could have certainly outsourced a lot of this but it was important for me to have a hand in it.

it feels so cool to hold my own CD in my hands! especially thinking back on being the little girl who couldn’t wait to sing and have this exact moment. its very full circle!

thx to everyone who has copped one so far! we are doing a limited run and only made 50. so get urz while supplies last! and if you didn’t know, the physical release has 4 unreleased songs that are not on streaming platforms. including the one that is playing on this post 🤭🤗

you know the rules—link pon di bio :)

also, swipe to see some of the pages in the booklet along with inspo and creative references!

thx to all my friends and collaborators who helped make this happen. love u guys downnnnn ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
