Saturday I traded in my garden clothes for a party dress 💃🏽 When I started Garden Party as a brand, it felt like the merging of two worlds that naturally belonged together. It was, in part, a love letter to our historic home—to the many garden parties that have taken place here over the years—and to my deep belief that working alongside nature to grow flowers invites small, daily discoveries that bring immense joy. I’ve been dreaming of hosting a garden party since early Spring and on Saturday, we made it happen. The flowers were in full bloom, a soft summer breeze rolled through, and more than anything, I got to share a beautiful, nourishing meal and the cultivated beauty of this space with some of my most treasured people. There are few greater joys for me than sharing a meal, celebrating the magic of gardening and growing cut flowers, and being surrounded by such wonderful, talented, and hilarious friends. My heart is still overflowing! Photos by my dear @blue_room

• #foundpoem using words from the captions of the #iwentlookingforbeauty community: witnessing the beauty in the world, tonight, beauty shrouded in the uncertainties of life to appreciate the beauty of a snowflake, the trick is not overthinking it, a bit of woe begone, almost nothing beauty one tiny tree, a little fox slips beneath the cabin’s porch steps…mystery of tiny footprints solved, there is so much surrender in the surround of November Please tap the nine grid to learn more about the people behind the pictures, read the full captions, and be encouraged.

• Theft has been a theme of my summer, to hold the gritty tension of a world that is at once terrible and beautiful how fast the seasons turn, the light of 7:11 pm, the low hum of the late-summer wind half formed web at daybreak, peace like a river transitions can sneak up on you, may the resistance be a kin to chasing joy Please tap the nine grid to read the full captions, learn more about the people behind the posts, and be encouraged. This is where the #iwentlookingforbeauty found beauty. Would you consider joining us?

• In the style of a Mary Oliver poem, here is where we found beauty in the #iwentlookingforbeauty community: Let’s go I hear the river as the water rushes past Taking to the jetty, as if it were my stage? I want to spend all my hours in the field In the midst of high summer’s sweltering humidity Bring us a song on a plate Abundance- in our first season of growing In either joy or sorrow, or maybe that tender mix of both Do not take it for granted Please tap the nine grid to learn more about these accounts, read the full captions, and be encouraged.

• An #iwentlookingforbeauty poem: I’m pleased by small things, a very English summer, a cloudy day A thousand ways to clock a soul, leveling up, the answer to a question I’ve had about loving The fog rolled in..silent and gray, wandering enchanting bookstores, streets, and castles, chasing sweetness the whole way Tap the nine grid to learn more about these accounts, read the captions, and be encouraged. Where did you find beauty today?
