24 hours in London… here’s what I ate 👀🍴

📍Kaze — Looked good, but the quality didn’t quite match up. A bit pricey for what we got too. 5/10 ⭐️

📍Com Viet — Such a cute, cosy little spot with warm, comforting food. We ordered from the lunch menu and it felt worth the money. 7.5/10 ⭐️

📍Busaba — The katsu curry was decent, but I looove mango sticky rice, so I had high hopes… their version left me a little disappointed 🥲 6/10 ⭐️

📍GAIL’s — Always love a little GAIL’s stop! Good quality snacks and drinks. Their black sesame matcha is my fave, and the pistachio & rose cake is delicious 😍 8.5/10 ⭐️

It’s Frieze Week! For the uninitiated, it’s sort of like the art world’s version of Fashion Week, but much less chic and with a far higher rate of suspiciously large bank transfers. Everyone flocks to Regent’s Park to see what’s what inside the big white edifice (not the afterlife – the Frieze tent, aka the menty-B factory).
As is tradition, the Plaster staff have squeezed our remaining brain cells together to compile this exhaustive Frieze Guide. You didn’t ask for it, but we did it anyway. Enjoy, lads x

A little Thai food moment in Covent Garden. 🌶️🥢

Dinner with friends at Busaba, and you really can’t go wrong with Thai food!

We started with prawn crackers and edamame before indulging in calamari, chicken satay, chicken & prawn Pad Thai and ginger beef.
Bold flavours, a table full of delicious dishes and plenty of sharing.
Just how I like it. ✨

Good food, great company and another lovely evening in London. 🤍

Shredded green papaya with dried shrimp, cherry tomato, peanut and chilli. Bright, tangy and refreshing.

▫️matchstick chicken
Malt-marinated chicken wings, tender and full of flavour.

▫️crispy duck noodles
Aromatic crispy duck stir-fried noodles, served with cucumber, hoisin and chilli jam.

▫️chilli beef jasmine rice
Chilli minced beef with sweet basil, topped with a wok fried egg.

Girls’ night out in Central London, and St Christopher’s Place always has such great options! ✨

This time, my mum and I headed to one of our favourites, Busaba Thai, and as always, we really enjoyed it.

The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and it’s not too heavy on the wallet either.

We ordered four main dishes and one starter, and our bill came to around £35 per head. And honestly, we were absolutely stuffed!

For two people, that’s pretty good value, especially for Central London.

Definitely one I’d recommend if you’re looking for good food, a lovely atmosphere and reasonable prices in the heart of London. 🍜🥢✨
