🎱🔥🥵BMR037🥵🔥🎱 @bushfyre_ - “Too Hot” Ancient texts describe a fire that spoke from the wilderness in a wizened tone. The inferno’s voice calls out as temperatures rise and flames emanate from the underworld, engulfing all that they touch. It’s getting hot on Earth ... too hot. After our last trip to Tokyo with @bushfyre_, he’s back to take us somewhere new yet still familiar with his new single for BMR. “Too Hot” is quick on its feet and brings to mind late night euphoria flickering through the summertime haze. A bouncy kick drum drives the track forward while an LFO-modulated bassline pulses like an undercurrent rushing beneath the surface. Shimmering, seductive synth lines brilliantly drift in and out of focus as if the fiery track is fanning its own flames. At the center of it all is a reverberated vocal hook floating weightlessly above the mix in a way that seems both within reach and unknowable. Like so many of today’s pleasures, “Too Hot” feels both intimate and detached. “Too Hot” is available for only six days, the price is rising alongside the summer heat. Use the link in our bio or hit our Bandcamp to listen! 🔗 WARNING: “Too Hot” is likely to cause endless replays. 🎼🎧🎛️ Composed, Recorded, Mixed, and by @bushfyre_ 💿 Mastered by @ambivalent_kevin at @valence_studios 🎨 Artwork by @roobs.infinity 🎱 Black Magic Recordings | BMR037 #electronic #blackmagic #666 #bandcamp #newmusic

Hey everyone! We’re into 6s, so naturally 6/6 has become a holiday for us at BMR! To celebrate the 3rd BMR Day, our subscription is $6.66 for the next 24 hours! We recently updated our Bandcamp annual subscription so that it includes our ENTIRE back catalog AND each monthly release over the next year. https://blackmagicrecs.bandcamp.com/sell-your-soul-now To make things even more diabolical, we’ll send a free BMR t-shirt to the 6th person who sells their soul today! Feed your inner demon: We celebrated 3 years of BMR in May and what we’ve accomplished thanks to our community of artists is surreal! We started BMR out of our wholehearted love of music and sincere desire to do right by artists and the music they trust us with releasing. That will forever be our intent. Thank you for listening and supporting the music we release on Bandcamp. Have a righteous Black Magic Day! - Your friends at BMR @roobs.infinity & @blinkhornmusic 🎱

🎱🗼BMR030🗼🎱 @bushfyre_ - “Tokyo” Before we first listened to bushfyre’s latest track, “Tokyo,” the title brought a few images to mind: bright lights, crowded streets and subways, and the highest order of sushi. On listening to “Tokyo,” we realized the track’s focus is more on meditative musical ideas than the sensory overload of its namesake metropolis. “Tokyo” gleams and glistens with surgically processed samples and a warm and emotive melody. The track’s strong, resonant bassline and 2-step drum programming do wonders to keep it from floating away. bushfyre’s tight control of the track’s energy shows that a club tune doesn’t need peak-time flash to shine like a star. We’re big fans of @bushfyre_ and are glad to welcome him to the label release family! “Tokyo” remains in orbit for six days before the price enters another galaxy!
