Some people inspire you with what they say. Others inspire you with how they work Sabrina does both!

We’re incredibly grateful to Sabrina Flowers for giving her time during Lady Ballers Camp and speaking with a group of young girls who share the same goal she once had, reaching the next level.

We’ve watched as Sabrina has spent years putting in the work developing her game through consistency, discipline, and a commitment to getting better. Even now, as a returning college player, she continues to be one of our most consistent athletes showing up early, working out every morning (often twice a day), and continuing to invest in her development.
But what makes Sabrina such an important example for our girls goes beyond basketball.
She demonstrates how to work, how to carry yourself, how to treat people, and how to stay committed to the process.

For the girls at Lady Ballers Camp, getting to hear from someone who has walked the path they hope to walk someday is incredibly powerful.

Thank you, Sabrina, for being the example.

For 130 years, sports have been a meaningful part of life at our university, from community recreation to the intercollegiate student-athlete experience.

In this month’s 130-year anniversary reflection, we’re looking back on our athletic history. While official intercollegiate programs didn’t begin until more than 60 years into our story, starting with men’s basketball in 1959, our commitment to athletics has grown tremendously. Along the way, our student-athletes, coaches, staff, and fans have contributed to numerous conference and national achievements.

Here’s just a small glimpse into the history of our ever-growing intercollegiate athletic experience!

Congrats Ayden!

Ayden Krupke led the Beacons and was ranked fifth in the Cascade Conference in scoring, averaging 14.9 points per game. She hit a team-high 44 three pointers, led the Beacons with 58 steals and ranked second with 52 assists.

Krupke had multiple stand-out moments during her final season, scoring at least 20 points in six different games, including a career-best 36 points against Corban in December. It was the highest point total for a Beacon in 17 years and the second-highest total in school history.

She completed her career with 1091 points, becoming the seventh player in school history to score over 1000. She also finished third all-time for field goal attempts and three-point field goal attempts.

We’re passing the mic to Sabrina for Mic’d Up Beacs! 🗣️🎙️

Listen in as she and our Beacon Women’s Basketball team hit the court, drain some shots, and bring their energy at practice. @bushnellwbb
