What an incredible day in Pietermaritzburg! The Sandile Zuma Charity Run brought the community together in black, standing united against GBV and ensuring no family goes to bed hungry.

We caught up with so many inspiring voices who shared their hearts:

The Sandile Zuma Charity Run continues to grow, giving back to those in need. As Njabulo said: “No family goes to bed without food today.”

We caught up with the incredible Busi Xulu at the Sandile Zuma Charity Run at Edendale Mall and the energy was unmatched.

Today, everyone wore black in solidarity against GBV. A powerful statement, a united community and a truly wonderful running experience.

August, you lekker ding ☘️💫💛

You delivered greatness in every aspect of my life.

You made sure I was celebrated properly throughout my birthday month. You placed me on a panel at the @cg_athletics Women’s Day celebration, where I met some of the most phenomenal and inspiring women. You allowed me to travel, rest, recharge and somehow still juggle everything in between.

You crowned me Female Runner of the Year at the @runnerawards_gp 🏆
@thandymatlaila my twinny, thank you for being my beacon of sunshine ☀️💛. I was freezing 🥶 during that interview 😅

You saw me selected to represent @cg_athletics at the @asa_athletics_south_africa cross country championships, something I had never imagined, even in my wildest dreams. You gave me three podium finishes from the four @vitalityrun series I participated in. 🥹🔥

Then, in the most beautiful twist of fate, a work + family trip took me to Durbs, where I attended the @comradesmarathon charity cheque handover. I left deeply inspired and certain that I will run the 100th @comradesmarathon for a charity. Thank you, @nontuthukomashimane_wellness for showing me just how powerful running with purpose can be 💫♥️

As if that wasn’t enough, I witnessed our not-so-little baby girl become a whole wife 🥹♥️💍

What a full, intentional and extraordinary month of greatness you have been, dearest August.
