🧱🚐 Happy LEGO Day – Small Bricks, Big Adventures!
Yes, that really is a VW Bus standing on LEGO ramps! During the legendary Baltic Sea Circle Rally, we took on the challenge of parking our van on a base of colorful LEGO bricks — and they held up like absolute champions. This wild idea became reality thanks to the brilliant support of Brickmaster René Hofmeister and his creative companion Pascal Lenhard, who brought the expertise (and the courage!) to make it happen.

This stunt wasn’t just fun — it was a perfect reminder of how imagination, teamwork, and a bit of playful madness can turn an ordinary moment into an unforgettable story.

💡 What is LEGO Day about?
Celebrated on January 28, LEGO Day marks the anniversary of the 1958 patent for the iconic LEGO brick. It’s a tribute to creativity, problem‑solving, and the joy of building something entirely your own. Today, we celebrate the tiny bricks that inspire big ideas.

🎉 Celebrating Disc Jockey Day
Today is all about honoring the artists who keep dancefloors alive and memories spinning. Disc Jockey Day celebrates the passion, skill, and culture of DJs everywhere — the ones who turn vinyl into magic and transform a simple beat into a shared moment.
And what better symbol to pair with this celebration than the legendary Technics 1210 MK2 alongside a slipmat featuring the iconic VW bus. The VW bus has always stood for freedom, creativity, and the open‑road spirit — the same spirit that defines DJ culture. It’s the ride of dreamers, travelers, and music lovers who carry sound wherever they go.
Just like DJs, the VW bus represents movement, community, and timeless style. Together, they tell a story of journeys powered by rhythm.
Here’s to the DJs who keep the world moving — and to the culture that drives us forward.

.
Also zurück zu den Bullis. Wegen denen sind wir ja dort gewesen.
Die Mehrheit der VW Busse waren aus den ersten Generationen mit einigen interessanten Umbauten...
.
Aber seht selbst.

Say hello to the @topgear Electric Car of the Year, the VW ID.Buzz. I took it down to Newquay, got it together with original T2s and then created our own #BugJam. Massive thanks to everyone who got involved in that - I think we had 29 VW vans turn up. The Buzz is a cracker. Yes, more versatile versions will come, but in the meantime this looks a much cleverer and more useful electric family car than any SUV or crossover. We had two days of gorgeous weather and @markfagelsonphotography really made the most of them. Have a run through the pictures. Mag story out tomorrow, film to follow! #vwidbuzz #vw #idbuzz #newquay #fistralbeach
