Category is… Best Documentary Feature! 🎥🏆

A DEEPER LOVE: THE STORY OF MISS PEPPERMINT snatched the crown at the Grove & Pines Film Festival, where it was also the CLOSING NIGHT film. Receiving this honor in Fire Island Pines with Peppermint in the room felt especially meaningful for us 👑

Nearly a decade in the making A Deeper Love is an intimate portrait of the woman behind the icon. It is also a living record of artistry, chosen family, survival and queer joy.

After touring at over 20 festivals worldwide this award is another win for Peppermint, our team, our supporters, and every audience that carried the film forward.

Thank you @groveandpinesfilmfestival. Queer history met queer cinema… and darling, the judges had a taste! 💖

i think referring to a post like this as a “dump” makes these moments seem insignificant and i don’t love that… so here is a post containing some moments from summer
