The only thing the 2024 Kicks Ball owes me is more Babyface! It was top tier from the moment we entered the hallway until all the bottles of vodka were emptied! Networking Happy Hour hosted by Erica of Black Girls Who Brunch at Rockhouse Southern Kitchen. The event had a great turn out with great weather to have a drink on the spacious patio. My favorite rodeo event 🎉🎉 the bbq cook-off is here!!! My preference is to always attend on Thursday night before the big crowds. With the beautiful weather we bounced around to @visit_houston and @burnsoriginalbbq tents.

TENT INVITES (Remember your grounds ticket doesn’t ensure access!)
My blog/influencer role is how I’ve gotten invited to tents. No one ever gives me 100 tickets to share so no I don’t have any 🤣😂🤣

Others noted getting tickets through giveaways, their jobs (big companies always have tents and have for years)and their family/friends. Alumni chapters also host tents too. Some tents allow you to pay to join them. In the past it was about $50 but this year that price is much higher FYI.

Cookoff continues through this weekend and rodeo grounds open on the 28th

I have some folks that I love dearly who are always late. Me on the other hand? I have to TRY to be late and still end up being the first to arrive except with my friends @ladykayday & @bits.n.bites 😂🤣😂. They are just like me!

High key folks being late can make me anxious especially if we have a reservation etc. so I like to be ON time lol. It’s one of the many reasons I love hanging with these ladies 😂🤣
