The sport we love doesn’t always give us the rounds we hope for, but every round is an opportunity to learn, grow, and come back stronger. So proud of Ava and Joey. Thank you @homewardfarms @brownlandfarmhorseshows @butet_southeast

Every rider has a round they dream about. Today, I got to live mine.

S&L Cesam and I won the $30,000 Grand Prix of Brownland — after also winning the Welcome Stake on Thursday. A life goal, achieved with a horse who meets me at every fence with everything he has.

This sport doesn’t let anyone do it alone, and there are too many people to thank properly in one post — but I’ll start here. Lauren Eisele: thank you for standing beside me through all of it. Ruben Garcia and Yvette Minjares Garcia: thank you for trusting me to represent this remarkable sales horse. Mom and Dad — Mark Howard and Jacqui Howard: every opportunity I’ve had in this sport traces back to you. And Matt Cyphert: years of coaching, encouragement, and belief. Bree Valensin: thank you for keeping all of us feeling our best. Kevin Crowell: thank you for giving us the absolute best shoeing possible to allow us to jump like this in bad weather. Rebecca Renfro with Franklin Saddlery: thank you for supplying us with the best possible equipment to perform our best. Last but not least, Marcos: thank you for taking the best care of our horses every day! This one’s ours.

When running a consignment program you will see anything and everything, especially when it comes to saddles. Sometimes, you find gold.

This @butetsellier is a testament to how quality saddles last for 5, 10, even 20+ years and we are so excited to have it available on consignment!

This Butet is a 17” P seat listed at $1,600.

What year did you think this saddle is?
