Speaking to Heaven .....2020 has been a year of many losses for my family...
.
Today as I leave the airport my smile comes with the joy of overcoming the trials of life. My father in law passed on September 20.. his final memorial is in the morning and while my young adult kids boarded their flight this morning to the funeral, I felt the pain knowing that they have lost yet another grandparent..as my grandparents and parents are deceased which leaves them void.
.
But this loss is special .. As strong and powerful a man my father in law was .. he was always there for me, and the kids, never judging, even through my divorce.. which is why he’s still my father in law.. He always treated everyone with respect and tried to be the best example for me, my ex husband and our family. For that I loved him with all my heart and knew that through him I could still see the good in other people, especially men.
.
But as we all know, we live in times where everyone wants quick and easy.. people take your spirit, your time, your energy and when you give and are in need yourself .. they are on to the next..
.
I know that there are still great people in this world and my journey is to continue to smile and keep my heart available to find many more kind souls like my father in law. May he Rest in Heaven ... Bye bye Grandaddy Bush.....💗💗💗💗
