10–0! 🏆 What a weekend for the HUB Silicon Valley Grizzlies at the United Pickleball League (UPL) Arizona Showdown!

Really proud of how our team battled through 10 matches against some great competition from across the country and came away undefeated as a team.

Personally, it was especially satisfying to see the training I’ve been putting in (while developing Polar Bear Pickleball’s training offerings with @vpvalenz & @pickleballwithjawknee) translate into competitive play. Pramod and I went 8–0 in our doubles games together. Really appreciate him battling alongside me!

Shoutout to AIREO for making such a great paddle that I’ve loved competing with, and for being at the Showdown so players could demo their newest lineup!

🏓 Not familiar with UPL? It’s a fun team format where 6 players (including at least one female) compete in 3 doubles games, followed by a doubles DreamBreaker and a singles DreamBreaker. All 5 games count toward the standings and qualification for the $75K end-of-season tournament!

With dozens of teams competing over the weekend, it was a great opportunity to get plenty of competitive reps, reconnect with old friends, and make some new ones along the way. That’s what makes this pickleball community so special!

Thanks to our teammates, opponents, and organizers for a great weekend. Looking forward to the next one!

On a day full of highlights, here’s a 60 second taste of the four @uplcircuit teams playing high level pickleball. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday.

🪩🥈 Silver at the Fall Fever Disco Pickleball Tournament! 🐻‍❄️🏓

What a day at Discovery Bay! My partner Taylor L and I battled through a stacked Open Level Mixed Moneyball field to come away with 🥈. Proud of how we competed, adjusted, and fought all the way through.

Huge congratulations to my men’s doubles partner Josh Hill and his sister Courtney, who took home the 🥇. Couldn’t be prouder of those two — even if it meant battling them across the net! They’re the future. 🔥

Major respect as well to Julie Heitman & Nathan Nguyen. Julie is a Bay Area senior pro legend, while Nathan is another rising talent. Between Nathan, Josh, Courtney and so many others coming up right now, NorCal pickleball has some serious talent making noise at the national level.

And there was plenty of Team AIREO on the podium! 🙌 Many of us are out there competing with AIREO Sports paddles, so naturally we had to get the crew together for a pic. Proud to represent @aireosports and be part of this growing team.

Big kudos to the Discovery Bay Pickleball Club for putting on the Fall Fever Disco Pickleball Tournament 🪩. Great competition, great people, and an awesome 12-court facility that made for a fantastic tournament venue.

Let’s just say 🐻‍❄️ Polar Bear Pickleball may already be eyeing Discovery Bay for some future events… 👀

Thanks to everyone who organized, competed, supported and watched us battle this weekend.

We came. We battled. We disco’d. 🐻‍❄️

Nothing quite beats the vibe and community at the Tuscany Villa Open. Truly humbled to have shared the court with so many talented players this weekend—battling into the quarters with @backhandvolley.pickleball and taking 1st in Men’s Open alongside @butterbrothers.pb 🏆
More than anything, I’m overflowing with gratitude for the people who make this possible. A massive thank you to @drphanwellnesscenter and the whole @neonicpickleball team for believing in me, with a special personal shoutout to @vinhsta for setting me up with the best paddles in the game. 🏓
And a huge, heartfelt thank you to @cuong_nguyen83 for pulling off such an amazing tournament and always supporting us unconditionally. On top of that, thanks to @ironman_luong for supporting the tournament with the venue and food.
Walking away with $500, but the real reward is the support system around me. Staying grounded, staying grateful, and getting right back to work. 🙏✨

A year I’ll never forget. Crazy how much can change in a year. Moved to California, met some of my favorite people, built some really cool relationships, and got to be a part of something pretty special. Beyond grateful for everyone who made this first season what it was.

Year one with @lamaddrops 🤝

A bittersweet Jr. MLP season recap 🥹💚

So incredibly proud of Lexie and her amazing LA Mad Drops teammates. What a season it’s been — traveling, competing, cheering from the sidelines, making memories, and getting to watch these kids grow together both on and off the court.

So many matches, so many laughs, so many miles traveled… and somehow it still went by way too fast. 🥹

Grateful for this team, the friendships, the families, and all the memories made along the way. 💚💧

What an incredible season, Mad Drops! 🙌🏼

What an incredible season of jrMLP! I have had such a fun summer playing for the LA Mad Drops Jr team! Taking 3rd overall was a huge battle, but well worth all the work! Traveling around the country & meeting so many other kids that love this sport as much as I do has been so fun! Can’t wait for more!!
