Another one for vetiver week.

I'm deliberately posting vetiver fragrances where the vetiver note plays a supporting role and is not the dominant note.

This opens with flowers (mainly Geranium) and lemon from Portofino leads the notes of neroli, iris, and basil. Amber underlines the warmth of the base notes of musk and vetiver from Haiti.

It's a wonderful fragrance but doesn't last more 3 hours on my skin.

Top notes:
Lemon of Portofino, Neroli, Sicilian Orange, Italian Basil;

Heart notes:
Mimosa in bloom, Florentine iris, Carnation flower, Geranium leaves;

Base notes:
Haitian Vetiver, Amber, selection of precious Musk.

La panacée de l'art érotique Malien

La plante se présente sous la forme d'une grande touffe d'herbe haute et verte assez commune, de la famille des poaceae ( graminées), on la confondrait facilement avec une mauvaise herbe.

Non doté d'un charme fou, elle se fond dans la nature que ce soit sur:

l'île de la Réunion : une très appréciée avec une facette boisée, gras, terreux

Haïti : semblable à celle de la Réunion mais moins grasse

Chine: moins apprécié car la qualité est moindre

Utilisé dans beaucoup de nos parfums boisée, le vétiver reste une matière première très appréciée en parfumerie , elle apporte cette richesse naturelle légère, terreuse et fumée d'un bois fin très agréable.

Principalement utilisée pour composer un parfum boisé masculin, aujourd'hui ce vétiver se joint également aux compositions féminines pour apporter légèreté et élégance naturelle

Unboxed this one yesterday and I got several requests from the community for my opinion on the fragrance.

So I had to wear it this morning so I can give you a sincere impression of it according to my nose.

Once the initial sharp green vetiver and smokey opening dies down a little, you get a beautiful earthy/bright vetiver and cedar combo that gives off some kind of outdoors gentlemen aura that I love very much.

There's a cardamom note that evaporates after 1 hour but still noticeable. Slightly sweet oriental spices stay on, kind of a burned plastic or incense note and it's very much there after 3 hours after application.

Regarding sillage, it does not radiate much, stays as a skin scent after 3 hours, but keep getting wafts of it even after 6 hours.

The quality is clear and present, not cheap smelling, at all.

Maybe green enough for summer and incense-y enough for cooler temps.

Good life and radiates well. Felt good wearing this one.

I hope I have done Byerley the justice it deserves.

FRESH CLEAN WOODY.. This is a clone of Bleu De Chanel EDT.. and it’s damn close! I’d say about 80%👈🏾.. and that’s only because to my nose the other 20% is Bleu De Chanel PARFUM.. It has the projection of the EDT with the strong woody base of the PARFUM version... Chanel could EASILY bottle this fragrance and sell it as “Bleu De Chanel INTENSE” or “Bleu De Chanel PARFUM COLOGNE” ...this is really good for the price and lasts about 8 hours on my skin FOREVER on clothes.. you can’t beat this for the price.. $26-$28 see BDC for the note breakdown.. it’s identical to this! Not to mention the bottle is GORGEOUS 🤩🤩🤩
