It truly takes a team unlike any other to bring a dream to life! It’s hard to put into words everything it took to pull this off and put on a Race Week show to properly hype up the @ironmantri World Championships. Much love to everyone who came to experience what we did here @protrinews this week whether you watched in person or online thank you for creating such an insane atmosphere and environment. In particular to the operations team this was a heavy lift and we did it! Specifically @talbotcox who introduced me to the sport in 2012 and flew me out to Kona for the first time to experience the IRONMAN world championship in 2018. Our 20 year friendship continues to be a blessing in my life and we make a pretty good team.

The venue and setup was out of this world special thanks to @wynrepublic and @ventumracing for hosting us at the Hale all week long! Sharing the space kept the vibes at an all time high! @imlukemckenzie @bethgmckenzie @barrettbrandon_ @diaa10 @samisgross22 @sydkibb @miahowle

Some friendships go well beyond sport, and this one is pretty special.

From living together in San Diego in the early 2000s, to chasing our dreams as two young professional triathletes, to sharing the start line in Kona for the best part of a decade, @crowiealexander has been a huge part of my life and journey in this sport.

I’ve had a front row seat to witness a phenomenal career but beyond the world titles amd incredible performances it’s the person behind the athlete that I’ve always admired most.

Crowie has been so much more than a friend. He’s been a mentor, a big brother and someone I’ve always been able to count on, both in sport and in life. Through all the highs and lows, he’s always been there.

To see you inducted into the Ironman Hall of Fame is incredibly special and so well deserved, mate. You’ve inspired a generation of athletes, myself included, and left a legacy that goes far beyond your results.

Proud of you, brother. Grateful for all the memories, the miles we’ve shared and, most importantly, the friendship that’s lasted all these years.

Congratulations, Crowie. One of the greatest to ever do it. You’re my boy blue!❤️🤙
