Today I finally finished putting everything away, and it's been awesome looking back at everyone's posts from the last several days.

Seeing the joy that the sport of strongman brings, and the friendships it creates, is what it's all about. Thank you to every athlete who showed up, competed, and gave it everything you had. There were some incredible performances and truly impressive displays of strength.

There are so many people to thank, but a very special thank you goes to @jwalling136 Jeff and @bwalling09 . Without you two, this competition simply wouldn't have happened. Your friendship, dedication to the sport, and support mean more than I can put into words.

Thank you as well to @facegainz @jurassicbarbie11 @knick130 @ejnickels and @aaronfarmen for being amazing friends and volunteers. You stepped up without hesitation from day one, and I can't thank you enough.

A big thank you to @dickmanblake and Will from @vault_fitness_stayton for jumping in as volunteers and helping everything run smoothly. Your willingness to help made a huge difference.

As this long prep winds down it’s been fun looking back .
From failing 330 on Bartos husafell in November .
To moving through different goals I set for myself:
hitting 410 on Bartos husafell
walking 365 around the yard
taking the replica for multiple trips#stone
to picking up the 430 replica (x3)
& just this week walking with 400# sandbag

Before all this I’ve never even lapped a 300 sandbag, very happy with how this prep has went while checking off a 2 hour half marathon , hitting top 5% on Spartan super and sprint in same day, 100 mile bike ride to the coast and even sprint length triathlon.

The body is an amazing machine , now to try and make it all count in 5 weeks in Iceland.

Fun weekend over in Idaho with Britt’s parents. Got a lot of activities in a short time. Sprint length triathalon, 6 more miles mountain biking , 5k run and some stone lifting at base of Hood on way back. 6 weeks left until Iceland. @cerberus_strength - Zoeysdojo #strongman #strong #triathlon #gymrat #usa

Inspired by my friends doing amazing things, I decided I was going to fill my day doing things I love and celebrate what the body is capable of. I did what I am calling my own custom trifecta.

The day started off with a 36 mile gravel ride with 3000ft of climbing. This was a really tough ride.

Then I moved into a 3.6km doggy walk with the pups and @jurassicbarbie11 joined us at the end. Donut was in the stroller the entire time and banana hopped in the stroller when he was tired of walking.

Then the day was ended with a 36 minute deadlift EMOM at 365lbs. The videos shows the first rep and the last rep.

Now I am on the couch snuggling with my beautiful wife and the dogs. It was an amazing day. Thank you to everyone who reached out with birthday wishes. It means the world to me. Thank you to my friends who inspire and push me to be my best. It is truly inspiring.

Another one in the books 2026 World Beat Dragon boat races. Huge thank you to Kathy, Steve, Cody and rest of the team helping secure another gold medal finish this year. It’s always a blast training with you all. Fun way to celebrate 17 years of marriage! Now we eat!

Well story time:
Goal when I started this adventure at beginning of the year I wanted to:
1: pickup the 365 bag (hadn’t even picked up 300 sb)
2: get a lap around lawn with it.

The idea was to try it yesterday but then after the hikes and the hard steep climb this week I was figuring it wasn’t happening and pushed it off to today.
So then after how steep and hilly todays trail run with @bwalling09 was I just figured hit the 300 and maybe try to pickup the 365 if 300 moves well.

After picking it and fighting the sweat and sliding finally got it up high enough figured let’s go to end of the lawn after I started going I had that feeling I can make that lap it got hard on last stretch since it’s uphill and was ugly but it moved.

8 weeks away to try the real deal.
