About two years ago, my bro @melvinthewave introduced me to @folapondis and it’s been beautiful to witness how much he has accomplished in such a short time.

Over the weekend, I was invited by @audiomackafrica to The Connect Event with Fola, celebrating his incredible strides and the release of his sophomore project, 9.

It was a great time reconnecting with colleagues in the industry. Big shoutout to Audiomack Africa and Close for making for giving us a treat.

If you streamed, shared, commented, or believed — thank you. This year didn’t go exactly how I planned.
But a lot went exactly how it needed to.

No label. No machine. Just consistency, growth, and real people supporting real music.
I’m grateful for every listen, every repost, every message. #kingstunna🐐 #snobgang

#KidsInnovationChallenge2025 from my POV 😍

Still buzzing from co-hosting the Kids Innovation Challenge 2025 — a children’s hackathon and tech showcase powered by The Destiny Trust.

We had the perfect mix of serious pitches and pure entertainment, loved the dance breaks and spoken word in between. It was such a well planned event. The innovations pitched ranged from AI-powered learning tools to health-tech and AgriTech solutions, they proved that Nigeria’s next generation of leaders in tech is already here.

Special thanks to my amazing co-host @bwchika, my probono stylist 😁 @lisasdefault and my videographer @fromloluwithlove_ for making me look good. Immense gratitude to @abimbolanike for trusting me to do this and to @kemiojenike, @jejeathina, @ifeyinwapobienu, @onyinyeokwundu and the entire @thedestinytrust team for building this platform that gives kids from schools across Nigeria the chance to innovate. Fun fact: 2 of the top 3 winners came from Anambra and Kwara States! 👏

And to our judges — what a panel! The finalists were so lucky to receive not just scores, but mentorship and high-quality advice from such incredible men and women.

I’m deeply grateful to have been part of this, not just as a compere, but as a lifetime family member of The Destiny Trust.

👉 Follow @kidsinnovationafrica and support the work of The Destiny Trust. The future is bright because these children are building it.
