You all love her as your yoga instructor , so you know I had to keep my girl Kabira GodisBira Yakini.

Kabira creates experiences where movement becomes medicine. Through yoga, we breathe through what we’ve been carrying. Through twerk fitness, we reclaim confidence one bounce at a time. Through sensual movement, we reconnect with the parts of ourselves we’ve hidden, neglected, or forgotten.

Mental health is at the heart of everything I teach because healing isn’t just something we think—it’s something we feel, breathe, and embody.

My goal is simple: to help people remember that their body is not the enemy; it’s the home they’ve been searching for.

March is closing out, and I’m sitting with deep gratitude for all that this Women’s History Month held.

This month I had the honor of connecting, creating, and celebrating alongside some incredible women. From traveling to Houston and building new sisterhood connections, to holding spaces rooted in healing, wellness, and education for women in our communities, this season reminded me just how powerful it is when women gather with intention.

I’m also deeply grateful to have been recognized as a “Woman of Impact” by the brothers of Alpha Pi Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. To be affirmed in the work of nurturing community, advocating for reproductive justice, and pouring into women’s wellbeing means more than words can express.
Women’s History Month may be ending, but the work, the love, the healing, and the celebration of women continues every day.

Here’s to the women who build, nurture, organize, create, and transform the world around us. I’m honored to be in community with you.

✨⚕️Black Maternal Mental Health🧠🧘🏽‍♀️

There’s something sacred about a room full of Black women moving without apology. No pressure to be strong. No need to shrink. Just bodies in motion grieving, laughing, releasing, remembering.

During Black Maternal Health Week, we didn’t gather to fix ourselves. We gathered to feel. To be held. To be witnessed.
And yes, we twerked because pleasure and play are part of the healing too.

If you were in the room, you know the power. If you weren’t just know this was about more than movement. It was about coming home to ourselves.

Thank you to @mamameshtreats for the amazing food, @dr.momologist for always empowering our Louisville community with @sistersong_woc, @bwellbu.movement for leading us through some phenomenal healing and yoga session!! Black women are truly a blessing🙌🏼
