Hey all you froth lords!!! It’s September 1st and unless you live under a rock you know it’s the month of @stillfrothy • This is year 17 and in honor of that we are paying tribute to the man that put it all together, Walter Cerny. This is a teaser for the song I wrote and video I created chronicling Walt’s journey from Hawaii to the CC and putting on this amazing event. The song will go live this Saturday and the link to stream or download it will be in my profile. All proceeds will go to the contest. The video will premier at @coolcatcafe_california on Friday September 25 during the opening ceremony for the contest. Let me just say what an honor it has been to be a part of this amazing event for almost as long as it’s been running. Also let me give a HUGE shoutout to @rallshouse @inhibitoryresidue @bwilliamdesign my Still Frothy bandmates and @todd_credaroli for the amazing song production. Also to EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. of you that helped with the video! What a group of legends!!! I’ll be sharing some of my favorite Still Frothy moments for the next few weeks to promote the event and look forward to seeing you all out there for year 17. LET’S GO! 🤙🏻

If you live under a rock or from more than a couple hours away from the CC you may not have known the Classic Car Show was at Pismo all weekend. As cool as that is, it pretty much makes parking anywhere near the pier impossible. So here’s a big shout out to those that walked the distance for some shitty spring closeouts! 😂 They say the one with the most pics wins the heat. I’ll let you decide and tag the kid! 🙏🏻 A few car show shots at the end for those who are into it. 🤙🏻

Great times at the @west_coast_board_riders this weekend hosted by @venturaboardriders I’m my biggest critic and felt I was finally back in the saddle again and surfing how I’ve wanted to all season! Stoked to drop an 8.5 & whammy it. Pretty cool with that score I was also able to over take a few groms on our Overall club leaderboard and be the club champ for 2026! Also was a huge feat for our @centralcoastboardriders team to qualify for the Lowers Comp for 3rd year in a row. Big thanks to our 20s who batted clean up. They all crushed it and @lewis_aberle dropped the hammer getting a 8.3 to secure us our spot! Honored and proud to split the MVP with you Lewis! 💪HUGE thanks to @bwilliamdesign and @bflaneur for their hospitality & amazing dinner the night before. I can’t thank you enough. And thanks Brett for the surf the evening before and cluing me into the line up. That was a huge help! Stoked to figure out a few tricks that evening as well. Special thanks to @brilloproductions for a great job and @adam_virs for being not only an amazing host but snapping a few cool shots of myself and @danishanderson See you all at Lowers in a few weeks!!! When I moved to CA from HI in 83 I first set my eyes on the Queen as I drove up from LAX. It was September so it was flat but I was frothing to see what a point break looked like. Over the years I did my darndest to get myself in the Queen’s court but it always seemed like my sessions weren’t what I envisioned. I felt more like the court jester. I heard of the fabled ride from Indicator to the freeway, but for me that felt like removing Excalibur from the stone. As often as I tried, it seemed either I’d get burned, wave caved in, paddler in the way or something would just go wrong. I had also heard of amazing tubes that graced her, but those too seemed as elusive as Camelot. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had some amazing waves bestowed to me by the Queen, but not the stuff of legendary tales I had heard. Even when I lived in SB it seemed work, training or my wife took precedence over getting epic Rincon. To top it off on my 50th birthday I thought I’d treat myself to a session & I swear I was either burned or blocked on every damn wave. I couldn’t believe my luck or lack of it. I left that day feeling the Queen’s crown had been tarnished. Well all that changed a few weeks ago. What the Queen had taketh she giveth back! It started with a quick session on my way to the Boardriders in HB, where somehow I got 4 waves in under 25 minutes at Indicator. With that I felt renewed, but then the weekend of Rincon Classic I decided I’d stay in my suit from dusk till dawn & I felt the Queen knighted me! I was able to get several legit barrels & incredible long waves with multiple turns. To top if off as the sun was setting on the comp I dropped in at the Indicator as I eyed down the line I thought cool this will get me past the river mouth easy. I laid into a few swooping turns & then looked down the line to see a dipping section that I had to get on my horse & haul ass. As I neared the river mouth I was blazing & a few groms looked like they’d were going to joust me for certain. Fortunately they backed off & didn’t even crumble it in! I sped through the river & got a few more turns on my way towards the Cove. I then couldn’t believe my eyes!!! MORE BELOW

Please join us tomorrow night (Friday September 27th) in support of my little brother Brett @brett_william_jordan @bwilliamdesign I’m not sure I’ve met many people in my life who froth harder than me and who are more passionate about surfing. Brett has had to deal with heart valve replacements all his life. He recently went through his 3rd valve replacement and on top of having his chest cut open suffered a stroke(s). Since his surgery he’s had to spend an unexpected amount of time in the hospital, in rehabilitation centers to learn to walk, talk, think & do all the things we take for granted. He’s also been unable to work for several months now and hasn’t seen the cost of his medical bills yet. So I ask that any of you who can please come down tomorrow night (Friday September 27th) to Cool Cat Cafe @coolcatcafe_california in Pismo Beach starting at 6pm and help us raise fund for his medical bills. We will have @billabong_usa Frothy truckers in exchange for a donation, other items in exchange for donation and a raffle. All the funds from this will go directly to Brett. And if you can’t make it don’t use that for an excuse as in our bio you can find a Gofundme page to help as well.
